$349 for fender flare delete kit is insulting. Hard pass as I will wait for someone else to do them for less than half that.
I look at something like this and immediately think "Man, that's high."
Then I immediately think "I can make them cheaper than that."
So you grab some cardboard, make a template.
Procure some steel.
Break out the plasma.
Clean up the edges with a grinder.
Sand
Prime
Sand
Paint (and bought primer, sandpaper, paint, grinding pads, plasma consumables)
Procure stainless fasteners or paint steel ones so they don't rust.

Then I find I have something that works well, only spent about $120, and used 4 hours of my Saturday.
All this to say sometimes it's better to just pay and buy and sometimes it makes sense to make it yourself.
At $349 I'll probably just buy them and spend that 4 hours making money on something else or fishing.

or don't buy if you can't afford it?

LOL

Complain all you want. Bronco6g owners are swimming in ad revenue as you guys continually post threads about how you are unhappy about everything.

Yep, move along if it bothers you so much.

Don't forget about shipping as these can't be bent to put into a smaller box. Yes! it is free shipping but you know damn well it is being added to the final cost.

Here's an example, Ford Raptor oem flares (4) cost $1200+ and has to be ship on a pallet.

Honestly...

Why don't you two take your petty cyber arguments into a private message.

Some peoples children I swear....

Always.
Nothing is ever free in this world. Nothing.
Free shipping means it is factored into the markup/pricing.
Free $ is never free. At some point the piper will be paid.

Literally just had this discussion with my paint line supervisor. Had an interview that didn't show up and he was surprised.

I told him I wasn't. People staying home, playing X box, ordering Dominoes, getting all this "free $", why go sweat somewhere? I'll just move the Resume' email over to the "Don't ever interview these people" folder...But I digress and get off topic as usual...

@Raptor911 Spot-on. $349 is high, sounds high, but that effort, time, R&D, shipping, etc. isn't ever free either. 4WP needs to pay for that and make profit. They are a business and that's what businesses do.
In the end we have to decide as individuals whether we are ok with the product at said price or not.
Personally I'd like to get them for less than $200, but it is what it is. I'll pay their $349, pop them on, and go enjoy a cold beverage by a river somewhere and admire my delete kit between casts.

Did you guys think these parts are going to be cheap? Lol

This will be just another issue to complain about on Bronco6g
another 6g poster with an elitist attitude and snarky comments.

people are expecting appropriate pricing and we can wait for someone else to offer at that pricing. Free market and I will exercise my ’demand’ option by not buying.

all these companies are going to price their bronco stuff high. They will take full advantage of the popularity. Besides, look how much the beauty rings are from ford, over $400 for a set. You can pay up now and have the stuff or wait years till the prices drop.
True, but aren't the stock Sas flares only $450. I wasn't expecting the delete kit to be almost equal to that.

100%

aftermarket companies are going to make killer money on the Bronco. Just think, if ford sells 100K broncos per year and the after market can encourage just 10% (10,000 Broncos) of owners to buy anything or everything for their rig ... we will see a small industry grow just to make products for the Bronco

Just wait until SEMA, a few here will gush over what they see and then turn right around and complain how expensive it is. BUT remember only 10% of owners have to cough up and buy.

:)
