Agree with the comments above about the QC process working and catching this before they left MAP. We’d have threads popping up like crazy if these were being delivered and were defective. Last thing we need is the Jeep guys saying “i SeE yOuR rOoF lEakS…”

If only there was some other roof option for the 2 door. Maybe something made out of - Oh I don't know - some sort of fabric perhaps...then you could get folks their Broncos now and get them their proper hard tops later.....just a thought.

I am sure its because it was so bad they could not take a chance ,its one they when you have one out of 100 that would be bad but hen you know its everyone they could not look past it.

I can not agree more. Kudos to Ford for screening and catching quality problems. This glass is half full...

MAP is closed this week, right? They could be doing housekeeping and gathering up the rejects from the previous weeks production. I wouldn't read too much into a few dozen bad examples when they are making hundreds per shift already.

Every 2 door I saw at MAP had “bad roof” written on the back window. Also I didn’t know the back window on the hardtop was removable and hadn’t seen the Sasquatch badge yet.

Convince me the wheel openings aren't horseshoes...

At this point I’d take it with the bad roof or no roof for that matter. Some things never change my Bronco II in 1986 had a roof leak that no one could ever find. It always smelled like a swamp. Maybe I should just get a four door and be done with this? What does CMP mean under “bad roof”?

Maybe it's a good time to tell EVERYONE... you get a soft top, you in back get a soft, you over there get a soft top... and because WE fucked up, we'll sell you a hard top for the same upgrade price you see in the B&P tool!

I would prefer a soft top only on my 2 door. Can’t spec it. Can only wait.

There was a time when they would go ahead and Build The Bronco and put bad roofs on them knowing they would need to be replaced when a good one is available
