Very nicely done. The Bronco looks amazing! The bigger tires look 10x better with painted flares, plus you get a lot of the creature comforts of the OBX.

After a few struggles I am excited to share the final outcome of our leveling kit and wheel/tire install!

Our specs:
Non-Sas OBX
4WP Leveling Kit with Big Tire crash bars
17x9 +30 RTR Tech 6 wheels
315/70r17 BF Goodrich KO2

1.25 inches of tire "poke" beyond the Non-Sas OBX fenders. No rubbing even at the limits of the OBX articulation.

Also the stock 3rd brake light clears the tire, just barely but it clears! I was worried I would need a taller 3rd brake light mount.

Thanks for sharing. I'm doing 295/70/R18 on 18x9 +20mm inch Fuel rims next week with the 2 in 4WP level lift. I was a little worried about the tires rubbing but it looks like the 315/70/17 with +30mm stick out exactly the same length as 295/70/18 with +20MM so I'm hoping I'm in the clear!!! The beefier wheels look amazing on the OBX. Congrats!!!

The liquid on the floor is from the penetrating oil I was using during my attempts to free the bolt from the strut.

I had the strut out and even tried to reverse press the bolt out without luck.

Edited to clarify, I could have gotten it out but the lack of a replacement bolt and not really wanting to use something from Ace Hardware just yet prevented me from being comfortable with continuing.

So I’m a complete idiot when it comes to offset. What size would be recommend if you wanted this same setup on a sas with little to no poke?

Thanks for the plug on the AC getting to the rear.
I sat in the back of a four door WT, and I felt the AC did NOT feel adequate for a rear passenger. It was a 95 ,high humidity day and when I drove the WT the AC was fine, but in the back seat, I could not feel any flow of air. Just my experience. Have a great one!

My understanding is that our wheel and tire setup is almost identical to the Sasquatch set up, +30 offset. To get nearly the same amount of tire "poke" on the sasquatch you would need a 0 (zero) offset. Or you could swap the Sasquatch flares for non-sasquatch flares with either stock of aftermarket +30 wheels and get the same effect.

I always use the Offset and Tire Size calculators on Tiresize.com as a good reference to help when ordering wheels and tires as it provides a good visual.

Are you concerned at all about putting such a large tire on a front axle that I think is only rated for a 33" tire from what I have read?? I am getting a BD this month and would love to go 34-35" but I am concerned about the axle being able to handle it.
