NHOUHoping you used something oil based like Fluid Film.
I ordered some fluid flim. It's waiting in my garage right now.. Have you or anyone used this product and can give some protips for installation?Hoping you used something oil based like Fluid Film.
$1400, not cheap, but Is a 4 day process. Tough being without my new ride for so long, but hopefully worth it if it is protected from the crap they coat the roads with now. While the roads maybe safer from snow and ice our vehicles take a beating.Any idea of the rough cost from something like this?
I tried a small section of Fluid Film on my Chevy and found it softened the factory undercoating to the point you could scratch it off with your finger nail. I ended up using it on my plow instead.I ordered some fluid flim. It's waiting in my garage right now.. Have you or anyone used this product and can give some protips for installation?
Interesting... Glad you warned I'll be sure to test before going full sendI tried a small section of Fluid Film on my Chevy and found it softened the factory undercoating to the point you could scratch it off with your finger nail. I ended up using it on my plow instead.
Fluid film is fantastic...works much better than "professional" methods in my experience, even on my Toyota frames which rust when you look at them. Just apply it liberally on everything underneath before winter and then again before summer, and it works great. 2x a year worked really well for me. Great stuff, and cheap and easy.I ordered some fluid flim. It's waiting in my garage right now.. Have you or anyone used this product and can give some protips for installation?
Project Farm tested used motor oil and it pretty much didn't do anything. When my dad worked for the highway department, he said they would spray the equipment with a combo of used motor oil and transmission fluid. While this would protect the trucks and loaders it was not good for the environment and is probably the reason most highway garages are hazardous sites.

Test a small section first. Might have just been an anomaly with my Chevy.Interesting... Glad you warned I'll be sure to test before going full send
