Hard to judge without knowing what the cause is. If they are retooling the assembly line to fix known issues (grille whistling, panel improvements) maybe that’s not such a bad thing?

So I have a 4 dr badlands, 2.7, soft top, squatch, high package. 7/23 res

I’m really debating ordering a 4 dr base/bb/bd with zero add ons except auto (perhaps squatch but might just do a lift on my own)

which do you think would be here first? Thinking maybe just flip the base/bb/bd for close to what I paid and pay for the badlands with that end the rest cash. Maybe even 99 my badlands

From a bunch of 25 year olds with rubber-stamped MBAs that have no actual experience doing anything, and no clue how things work in the real world. If the problem doesn't fall within the strict criteria of some ridiculous hypothetical situation they read in one of their textbooks they are completely lost.

I apologize for the rant, but this is literally who all these companies are hiring these days and it's driving me insane.

I appreciate the frustration here but do you really think this is something that people can plan through. I’ve worked in supply chain for over 20 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. I have seen short term disruptions to the supply chain but we are talking about a sustained 18 month shortage of everything… raw materials, parts and labor.

I want my Bronco too, it sucks, but trying to blame this on the production planners at Ford and claiming they need to be fired because they can’t schedule anything because they don’t have line of sight to 25% of the parts is ridiculous. You want someone at a one step above entry level position to lose their job because the entire supply chain is broken right now?

If we already have a build date and a vin, does this mean they're not scheduling NEW stuff, or does it put us in limbo, too? I'm now an 8/16 "build date."

Mine got pushed to the same week 8/16. Started off June 21, has been move 4 times.

There are several abandoned Broncos at dealerships across the country, if you are willing to compromise, you can get one in your garage within the week. This is exactly what i did to score my Base 4 door with a hard top.
