I just feel like Its an emotional wave I’m on and I will continue to just ride it. I know I want a bronco and if this is the only way to do it and get exactly what I want… well.. I’m gonna keep riding the wave. I hadn’t seen one on the road until today. We were in Georgetown, TX (in town to see friends and Koe Wetzel tonight). It was like a unicorn driving past and we all just watched in awe! It immediately solidified my will to stick it out. I’m sure tomorrow I’ll want to throw down in a fit but again.. highs and lows.. it is what it is.

tried to edit my prior post, system made it a quote post instead. so edited again:

Edit to add: if I don't have one by early next year, as in no later than April, then I think I'll go back to a Rubicon and just forget that these exist. I keep my cars for a long time (18 years and counting right now) and have no interest in changing models every couple of years. This year I would have not has all that much time to get off road so I don't miss it too much, next year that will change.

2 different vehicles built in different plants. Possibly many different suppliers not facing the same issues. Hard to compare the 2.
thats why I think its more then getting parts for the Bronco, it seems to be a new part ever week they can't get for the Bronco but Ford can get all the parts to build the Maverick..

Maverick is mostly after pandemic, so that may make a difference also. Nobody here seems to know what's going on with Bronco, just lots of speculation and Ford bashing. There's likely a quality issue or more than one causing delays. I certainly don't expect Ford to go into details of quality issues. That could be info that would benefit the competition in some way.

I’m all but done with it. I emailed my Wrangler 392 build sheet to a dealership this morning and I’m fairly sure I will be pulling the trigger on Monday. I’m a current Raptor owner (second one) and a Ford fan in general, but I’m also impatient and just don’t want to wait until 2023 or later (I want a painted top). I was also very interested in the WH/Braptor, but at the current rate that won’t come out until MY25.

I have no doubt I’ll get the typical “see ya dude, moves me up one slot,” so you’re welcome; you can have my 23 Bronco.

your thinking of after pandemic for the Maverick dont really make sense because a lot of the Bronco parts would still have a head start being made still now if Ford run into delays with the Maverick because of parts then there story of parts being hard to get now were the parts for the Bronco and Maverick being made and what they being made for could be the deferents also because I know were I work we having trouble getting steel.

Some don't seem to understand they won't be moving up. There's probably not a single dealer out there will actually cancel the order. The next customer in will get it or it will go on their lot.
After the mod top delay and then the MIC problems began, I moved on also while trade value was high and good incentives on the vehicle I bought, plus X plan. I have no regrets. The Bronco will be a better vehicle 2-3 years in and I may be ready to trade and try again.

Bronco parts surely had a head start, but got stuck in the middle of the pandemic and things came to a screeching halt for a year. Maverick has obviously had pretty smooth sailing and being a less complex vehicle has few potential issues.

Do you know the reason for a fact or just speculation? If fact, proof would be nice. Thanks
I'm not sure how anyone reading Bronco6g for the last month could have possibly missed the multiple threads on Webasto Hard top and Soft top problems, delamination, snakeskin pattern, becoming transparent in the sun, and thats just the hard top. The soft top, misaligned, saggy windows, does not stay in position, and wears through the fabric in a couple of weeks.

Now lets not even mention the fact that Ford canceled Webasto's Modular Hard top contract as they could not perform.

Speculation, I guess thats what you call all the photos members have posted of these issues on their own personal Bronco's.

Wait, @Bronc-O, seriously, you were the last forum member who I would have ever guessed would throw in the towel. o_O

All lies propagated by the media trying to hold down the Big Blue Oval. Ain’t facts until there’s a story on it from my local news 📰!

Sorry, had to.
