I also got my build email and VIN number!

Badlands, 2.7, Tow package, Lux......all the things that made me think I wouldn't see it anytime soon, with the exception being I did change to soft top.

Build week is 8/30, and now I'm a touch nervous about it getting the hardtop prep kit since they said "starting in September).....I may be splitting hairs but hey, this process has been long and arduous

Mine is 99'd until September for this very reason. Would love to know if you get the prep kit.

What do you mean your order mentions the hard top prep kit? Mentions that it will def
be included, or mentions that you want it which may not happen right away? My order is 99'd until September to be sure to get the prep kit. Wondering if 99 is necessary...

It's listed as "soft top w/ prep kit" or something like that both when selecting it through the ordering system and on the build sheet. I changed my order a few weeks ago and that's how it showed up.

Pretty sure everyone scheduled last Thursday will get it.

FINALLY! day 1 T+2:24 res, loaded Badlands. Slated for week of Aug 30....cue change emails...

EDIT: forgot to change my signature - I switched to soft top a few weeks ago

Hello everyone, new to the group. My Wildtrak SAS is built and sitting at the factory. My buddy who is the president of a Ford dealership said ours were the last group to get QC flagged on the hard top. Was so close to getting my new ride.

My dealer confirmed as well that my 8/30 scheduled build does indeed include the prep-kit.

I am hoping 2-3 weeks. I've got one turning 12 on 9/29 and it would be cool to be going for ride with the top down.

I also got my vin # for the 8/30 build week. (cautiously optimistic, I am)
My res. was 7/14 at 7am
originally ordered with a dual top, switched to MIC top and then in may i made the switch to the soft top.
Outer Banks 4 door with 2.7 High package with leather seats.

I heard from my dealer today (Monday 08/16/21) and they confirmed that when I changed from a hardtop to a soft top before the Ford deadline, even though my order is scheduled for production the week of Aug 30, this will include the hardtop prep kit slated for Sept.

My dealer said it's usually 4-5 weeks for our location. He doesn't know if the Bronco will be any different though.

Yep. It should say "Soft Top w/ prep kit for Hard Top" or something like that on your order.
