Serious question: Do we have evidence that a single retooled MIC top will be produced before October?
Nope! Other than folks like Zach saying that the FEs being produced prior to then will have the new top.

@Zach@Granger can you help clarify the order that MIC tops will be addressed?
Is it:
1. Delivered Bronco MIC replacements
2. FEs built and unbuilt
3. Other builds waiting at dirt mountain
4 Remaining assigned VINs with past due build dates, but not in production

Is this the order and will any of these happen at the same time?

Congrats to all the 'Bronco Lotto' winners; may all our balls get pulled!
If some of us get our balls pulled any more, they will be tucked into our socks

I called the ford customer service line and confirmed this yesterday with both the initial customer service agent and his supervisor who sounded to be reading off a communication email they had. However keep in mind they (customer service) have given out incorrect information in the past but here’s what I was told:

MIC top replacement is as follows; vehicles in production first then replacing tops that have already been delivered to customers

Then when I asked about the order of replacement tops within the “in production” group I was told:

the plan is to replace them in order of build date, meaning the bronco that has been on dirt mountain longest will receive a 2.0 MIC top first and once all the built units are replaced they’ll start building MIC 2.0 units (pretty well all FE) on the assembly line

Finally confirming:

lastly once the MIC 2.0 is operating at full speed on the assembly line any additional tops from supplier will be routed to dealerships for the warranty replacement program

I'm interested to hear what Zach has to say but per Mustang Mike's call with Ford Customer Service (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...october-production-estimate.22356/post-795418) it sounds like the order is 3, 2, 1 ,4? (where 2 and 1 are simultaneous perhaps?) and 4 is unlikely for 2021.

Serious answer: It is in the future, but these being scheduled is evidence that Ford thinks they will be produced. You don't know for sure that anything in the future is going to happen....so not sure what other evidence anyone could provide.

I'm not sure on the exact number of soft top orders in the system. We have remaining unscheduled allocation of less than 100 Broncos and all of those can be filled with soft tops orders that are in our system. We probably have around 30-40 already scheduled with VINs.

We have 45 total FEs. 1 is delivered. 33 are produced or got pulled this morning for scheduling and we have 11 left to schedule.
@Zach@Granger,

First of all, thank you for being so responsive and involved with the B6G Forum. I'm sure we're all very appreciative of the fact that you are taking time to respond to all of our inquiries.

Second of all, let's say I was hypothetically # 1000 (out of your total 1,200 or so orders), do I even have a chance of getting a 2022 Bronco based on your allocation numbers?

What phase would you call this? Mine was produced on 7/16. I understand I'm waiting on the new top but will mine skip these September builds?

They said they were going to FIFO them, so if they’re truthful it should. Problem is they haven’t been to this point. So flip a coin.

IMO FE line runs and any extra capacity gets applied to Dirt Mountain FIFO. I think those two situations will run concurrently.
