As a note was originally a mic top, took the dealers soft top mannequin for an extended test drive and realized the soft top wasn’t as big a compromise as I thought. Then switched to soft top a couple weeks ago and at that point added the 2.7 and SAS to the build. I will say I found out that constraint items come into play after your reservation number at this point and don’t seem to matter if you are a soft top. So freaking stoked!!!!!!

I switched to a soft top last week. My dealer said that my Bronco was showing that it's going to be built on Monday, but no email today.

Originally had MIC, Lux... but switched back in March due to the constraints... would not compromise on Tow Package though.

EDIT: Originally I was told I was in the low 30s of my dealer's allocation of 52 MY21 units... however I am guessing with the MIC issues, I might have moved up as I think my dealer has only had a handful delivered thus far.

Just curious, anyone in here that got their vin earlier this week get an email? Two Door FE here and no email yet, but my dealer had my VIN and build week monday.

My dealer told me I was a September 13th build last week, but I never received an email from Ford. I called Ford and got my vin. Ford tracker still states I have an order but no production date.

I think the only MIC tops to be built for 2021 from this point, will only be those that have a VIN and those will not be produced until after notifications in October.

That's been a little confusing for me. I was given a VIN and an 8/30 build week just prior to this big shake up. I was told that I could not switch to soft top because my VIN had already been assigned but I would still get a 2021 (we'll hear in October when that is) but it would be after First Editions/Dirt Mountain then us with VIN's who didn't/couldn't change to soft tops. Still haven't really seen that clearly stated which is a little concerning. Frustrating as I think I've mentioned I'm literally first in line at dealer, day 1 reservation, day 1 order....pretty meaningless at this point. It's like Disney FastPass but watching the other line get loaded before you.

I can't believe it but I got scheduled! I am shaking! Switching to a soft top worked! I was way down the list in my dealer's allocation and I had zero hopes that I would get scheduled for this year. I originally ordered a Hard top. Then I switched to soft top about 4 weeks ago
