not how it works in the auto industry. MILLIONS of dollars were INVESTED into tooling for unique 2-DOOR components that need to be recovered. There's NO WAY IN HELL they would cancel it before it gets out of the gate. Have some faith already? Why are so many people on here negative-Nellies??!?
Damn, come at me bro. Since you just joined the forum, I’ll pump the gate brakes a little. After you’ve rode this rollercoaster as long as many of us have, you won’t be surprised by the shady stuff Ford will do. Like that whole we’re gonna go in reservation timestamp order. How’d that work out? Not too good.

I thought I read if it’s ordered RR or AMB then they will paint it that color in 2022?
My email from Ford on that if you are not scheduled for a build and you get pushed to 22 MY you will have to choose another color but if have a vin it will still come as ordered

That's a good idea... @Ford Motor Company ..how about bumping up the few AMB and Rapid Red soft tops so they get built in 21 before the colors go away?

On a soft top order? Strange....
7/14 Resv. Badlands, 2.3, Manual, Lux, Tow, Soft Top 4dr, in AMB. No email as of yet, hopeful for one before MY22 color change

Seeing all these posts saying I changed everything to get it sooner makes me wonder how many are going to be happy with their "compromise" Bronco in the long run. Didn't you spec it a certain way in the first place because that's what you actually wanted?

Obviously, as more info comes to light some people might change their build because they realize they genuinely prefer a different build, but so many here seem like people who go to an auction or casino with a game plan/budget but then it all goes out the window because they get caught up in it and lose their minds.

By the way, kudos to those 2DR guys...they are die hards...it is 2DR or nothing for them!
The only thing that I changed was switching from an MIC to the soft top and dropped the tow package. Admittedly, I made the decision to switch to get it sooner but truthfully after going to my dealer ( South Bay Ford in Los Angeles ) and seeing / operating both top's I actually prefer the soft top. I am planning on getting a tow package installed after delivery, I was just trying to eliminate another potentially delaying item. Squatch, Lux, and 2.7 all had to stay.

But all of those badlands are super early reservations, like the first few days. Other models like base and BB are getting into September reservations now.
Just looking at the B6G tracker, BL makes up almost 40% of orders. Assuming that number stays the same across ALL orders, things like mod bumper, rock rails and sway bar disco are probably slowing down BL production.

But I already gave up my top. I won't give up the BL

Wonder if these things will actually be built on time. Seems like a lot of scheduling for next month.
My production date was the 9/13 called to confirm and they said 9/17. Guess we will wait and see.
Congrats! Who called with the 9/17 date? Dealer? I got a week of 9/6 email last week, but haven't received a specific date. I've seen other get specific dates, but through they came by email...

Same, I want that factory sway bar disconnect. Having that in the cabin and not having to get out is so nice.

Last time we saw an update from Ford, the USOB mix had Badlands at 24%….they were actually set to make more Badlands percentage wise than there were in the order bank at that time.

The only change I made was giving up the messed up MIC for the soft top with prep kit. I am totally fine with it, and looking forward to some fall top down driving. I look at this way, I'll get a white hard top when it's available, and have dualtops.
I know, I know..........I'll pay more for it, but possible aftermarket options might not be bad both quality and price wise. I am totally happy with my decision.

I did hear that once they start pumping out hard tops, get the FE’s built and Dirt Mountain builds wrapped up, that they may prioritize 2 door MIC tops as the require less materials to produce and as the take rate keeps dropping there’s far fewer builds for Ford to produce so they could knock them out quickly…but that’s hearsay until we see proof but fingers crossed it’s what happens and us 2 door peeps have some light shining in this endless tunnel!
It sounds good... but talked to the dealer and my 9th slide is to 10/25.... so i dunno how much priority is there.... i mean i guess over the MY22s or the November and December builds
