All doors on all model Bronco's are identical.

Let me guess, a car salesperson told you this? :ROFLMAO:
Nope, I’ve just been in enough of them to know they’re not identical.

Check out the doors on a High Package Bronco, then go to Big Bend.

You’ll discovery they’re not identical.

The only difference is extra sound deadening insulation in the high package. That gives the illusion of a more solid door, that is not because one door is flimsy and made of thinner gage steel, that is not how manufacturing and crash standards work. You are simply feeling the added weight of the sound deadening and the muffled clunk of when you close the door.

And that extra whatever is really nice! I was horrified when I first opened the door of a Big Bend and it kept wobbling after I let go.

I can't understand anyone thinking there would be no market for a non-removable top Bronco. After all, Ford found a market for the Pinto, didn't they? lol...

That being said, I'm personally not at all opposed to a Bronco variant similar to my 5G - and with the Eddie Bauer inspired creature comforts. When you consider the vast majority of these vehicles will spend far more time on the pavement than the dirt, why wouldn't you want to have a quieter riding hoop? I guess we FSB people can't be considered REAL 4x4 enthusiasts with a lid on our rides. I see people everyday who have invested tens of thousands of $$$ into their 4x4s which have never left the pavement. It makes little sense to me.

Tell me you don't know Bronco history without telling me you don't know Bronco history.

Thank you, that’s exactly what I was thinking! And someone else mentioned getting the open air experience with boat, atv, motorcycle, etc… I don’t have any of those nor do I want them. For me, this is going to be my fun and everyday vehicle and for that reason I want the removable top.
