Definitely recommend the Ceramic Coating. A typical clear coat has a hardness rating of 4/10. Getting a Ceramic Coating will increase that hardness to a 7-9/10 depending on the package you buy. Good stuff and it makes your vehicle much cleaner and easier to wash.
Oh, nice! I don't know anything about all this stuff, but the ceramic coat sounds like something I definitely want to investigate. :)

Well another update for everyone! I got the bronco fully wrapped in Paint protection film and also got all the windows tinted. I'm super happy with the results and it makes a huge difference in the looks of the vehicle. Pics above show before tint and after tint and PPF
What level of tint did you use?

Well another adventure today! My bronco went off-road for the first time. Took the forest lake trail today in American fork canyon, UT. It was really muddy and the beginning of the trail had lots of rocks to climb over! The 35” Nittos got some work for sure! Every time I thought the bronco would not make it over some of the rocks or through tight turns it would crush it! Everyone that thinks this vehicle is wider than a jeep needs to check themselves. All the jeeps I passed on the trail they loved the bronco and it almost became a mutual respect thing rather then a bashing session of why their rig was better! Overall an amazing trail and can’t wait to go out again!

Love your build. I’m leaning to do the same. Have you installed the lift yet? From the videos looks like you had a blast! Any rubbing issues?

so the PPF was about $2000. A lot of professional shops will charge you a lot more then that. My tint was $250. I had an appointment with Pro Tint in Draper and they were going to charge me $690 for my tint. PPF for them as well was almost $3500. So I saved a bunch. Had a guy who does it locally out of his home do it.
nice job!
I just got my latest build date from LHM in Draper and now it looks like I’m scheduled for Nov 1 (started out July 19) for my 4dr CG BL with Mic top. I’ll be asking for your tint and ceramic coating hookup when I get it!

How long did you wait for the paint to cure before the PPF?
Well I’ve only had it for about 2 weeks so that’s how long I waited. Putting ppf doesn’t hurt the paint any way. Your basically just putting a film over the paint for protection. Waxing and sealing and other things are the ones you want to avoid doing for a little bit unless your vehicle has the ppf on. After that you can do what you want.

What tint % did you go with? Just matched front windows with rear or? Looks great!

Your Bronco looks awesome! I called my local PPF place and they said that they couldn't give me a quote until I physically bring it it. Mine is getting built this week. They guy said that I should wait three weeks. He said that the PPF doesn't hurt the paint going on, but it could when you take it off if the paint didn't cure properly. I agree with you that it probably doesn't really matter.

Gorgeous! Confirms my choice in the covert wheels as well. I have the Area 51 BL and can’t decide between bronze or black Fuel Coverts.
I was debating jamming some 37s in there with a 2” lift spacer for now to see if it works and if so, waiting for a good set of coil overs to give me the height I’d like.
Let me know how it goes because it’ll give me a good idea of what 37s would do with the 2” spacer.

I was told the 2" spacer lift doesnt work with the Bilstein Shocks that come stock on Badlands and with sasquatch. If you want 37's you have to switch to coilovers. Which is what I'm waiting on. I was going to do 37's but decided 35's are perfect. I will do 37's probably after the 35's run out but for now the nittos are staying on. I will personally be buying the fox coilovers when they release them. I was told that they should be coming out Q4 of this year so it shouldnt be long until they release them. I know they have been in testing for a while now and those people have said they are amazing and basically better overall then the badlands and sasquatch suspension. We will see but I'm excited to get those and have some better suspension and a little more lift on the vehicle.

A few takeaways from Bronco Super Celebration last week.

Fun Havers say their lift will be available as soon as Fox gets their stuff out.

TC Customs had some rubbing issues running 37s with the 2" spacer lift. Like highlarious levels of rubbing off road. :)

I got up in the Fun Haver rig and it reminded me of getting into my Uncle's old lifted Trail Duster. I liked it. I'm pretty sure my wife would hate it!

Oh, BTW...

Vaughn Gittin Jr. looked at mine and said, "I'd run 35s on a 9" wheel with zero offset and it should be fine." I have the Ford Accessories metal flares, though, so quite a bit more room.

I'm also waiting on the Zone Offroads leveling kit, whenever it comes. :)

Well boys and girls it finally arrived! 398 days later and here it is in all its glory! Reserved 07/16, built 08/02, shipped 08/03 and delivered 08/18, taken delivery 08/19.

Took the standard wheels and tires off and put on Nitto Trail Grapplers (35x12.50r17) and Fuel Covert bronze wheels (17x9) with a +1 offset. Loving the poke on them. Driving it home was a dream and there was no transport damage and drove amazing! Can’t wait to start the journey with this BADASS bronco!

How far out is the poke from the standard flare? I have a badlands being delivered in few weeks and was concerned with a 0 offset, but this look makes me think otherwise.
