A couple of weeks ago @PREMiERdrum gave us the heads up that it would be a few weeks for the new tooling to be installed.

It sure sounds like they are on or ahead of schedule. Now the big question. How many tops can they make per day?

Thankful for the good news for all the dirt mountain captives.
Now perhaps there will be more useful threads, and less complaining.

Great news for all hardtop owners. Hopefully this means they start throwing some of us soft top buyers that have been stuck in production for nearly a month on the same trucks / trains and get all these Broncos moving.

Mine was built on august 16th but never left as far as I can tell, maybe they were waiting to mass ship as many as possible so they held some back based on their eventual final destination?

Either way, this great news for some of us, hopefully for all.

"The only delay now, he said, is the time it takes to run all Broncos that have been sitting awhile through comprehensive inspection.

'We'll do a water test on the new roof as well," Grueber said. "We'll make sure they're ready for sale.'"

Wait I'm sorry, a water test hasn't been done??? Am I misinterpreting this?

"Testing has been completed," said Mark Grueber, Ford Bronco marketing manager, told the Free Press on Tuesday. "We're ramping up production of the new roof and waiting for those units."
but then he said:

"We'll do a water test on the new roof as well," Grueber said. "We'll make sure they're ready for sale."
so which one is it? Testing has been completed? or they still need to do a water test? 🤦‍♂️

Seems pretty on par for Ford Communications thus far.

Do we know if this changes the original plan of pushing all MIC tops to MY22?
Would be great to get my 2 door in AMB like I ordered it. Remember last week when a bunch of hard tops were suddenly “previewing” ? Maybe there are more surprises in store. Probably just wishful thinking.
