so that means a wireless charging pad would actually be useful...the plot thickens in my endless decision on what options I must have..

So you have to have the wireless pad to use this?

No. I just never saw a point in wireless charging when it would be plugged in for carplay anyway.

I look at it the other way. If I have wireless Android Auto then I MUST have the wireless charging. Cut the cord!

I think it’s already verified that all Broncos including the base model have sync 4 and therefore wireless Apple carplay and android auto.

Wireless Carplay is actually one of the things I'm most excited for. I love Carplay, but I hate having a wire always hanging out and having to plug in every time I get in my current car.

They all include CP and AA, but wireless seems to be an option

edit: Thankfully I was wrong! See post below.

SYNC 4 comes standard with wireless Carplay and AA. I've used wireless AA in a 2021 F-150 XLT with the 8" screen and it was awesome. No need to take the phone out of my pocket. As mentioned before, it does make the wireless charger a lot more useful too.
That's great! (y)

looks like USB ACP/AA is standard

and WIRELESS will be a package deal that will be paired with the LTE hotspot. Optional on ANY bronco
