Got mine today and installed it in 20 mins - and that included reading the instructions. The install went exactly as shown on the Redline website / install video.

I made a short video to show it in action, but when I tried to load it says it's too large. Anyway, the struts work well. They begin slowly (which I like), then about 1/4 of the way, they speed up and lift the hood in a nice, smooth movement. Closing them is equally smooth, the struts do not seem to "fight" you.

So when you're closing it do you just kind of give the hood a little nudge down and the struts finish the job?

For an extra $20 you can get the carbon fiber sleeves which will cover the stickers.

Yea, I saw those...but for an extra $0 I can maybe peel off the stickers! The bracket appears to already be branded and I promise to tell anyone that asks where they came from!

Did you have difficulty getting to the bolt/bracket for the hood down in the engine compartment or is it pretty easily accessible? Did it loosen easy enough as well?

I just ordered these. Thanks for the experience feedback from both posters. That was the push I needed.

Now I feel like I need a light under the hood.

I had the Ford Racing struts on my '19 Mustang. Took them off because of how much the hood flexed when closing.

Anyone with these on their Bronco notice flexing? I just worry about fatigue cracks showing up from constant flexing.

I installed these today and I am happy with them, and they result in an additional foot of hood height when fully open! Here is a video if you are interested in seeing the installation process and results:
