Been an offroader as long as I could drive and had an 84 Bronco II, but never had the experience of going fully topless or doorless. The new Bronco looks great exposed, but I have serious concerns about parking that thing anywhere I can't see it for more than 30 seconds. I am not so worried about theft as I am vandalism or finding someone's McDonald's drink in the back. What is you thoughts on a Sunday drive with the Fam, top off and making some leisurely stops while out an about?

As a general rule, most people don't mess with Jeeps. Just know what part of town you are in.

If you plan on starting a new thread with a title something similar to "Going topless", you best be a woman and include pics! ? (Nothing wrong with that comment right Doug? @Administrator)

Now as others have mentioned already. Depends on the part of town. If you're in a nice neighborhood, you probably won't have any issues... park in the middle of a city though and it may be a different story.

Thats why i'm going BD, it has basically a washable inside (seats/floor) so if birds feel like having a party or some a-hole, i can just wash it out.

Plus my kids will probably make more of a mess than anybody else so.

Yeah, nice neighborhoods, just curious to experiences. Sorry for the title, must have just slipped my mind that it could have caused the stallions to get restless...

In my Isuzu, I can park it all day at work with the top off and the windows down. Nobody has ever messed with it. There are several Jeeps as well and it's the same way. I do the same going to stores and restaurants. I'm in the suburbs. Hope that helps.

No one has messed with our Jeep with the top and doors off...we go around town and go eat, shop, and other things!!! Also, I wouldn't be taking it topless and doorless into the ghetto or to leave at the airport...lol

Now that a sexist comment. I should have just a much of a right to post topless pics just as much as a woman does. :p:ROFLMAO:

Allow me to amend our new rule:

For the guys who want to post topless, you must at least shave your chest and block out your face.

How's that? Might even work out if you're rocking some man boobs

I drive our convertible classic cars all summer and never had an issue. I leave nothing of value in them. Biggest threat is rain!

When parked with open top at any extended family gatherings, my Jeep was a magnet for my little cousins. Couldn't keep them out of it. So beware of that.

Also don't leave anything loose inside, else it might be gone or used for mischief. I had a quart of oil in the Jeep, and someone poured it down the fuel tank, don't know why.

I've never had an issue in 20 yrs of Jeep ownership. I'd feel as comfortable parking it anywhere with the doors and/or top off as I would with them on.

The one thing I would do is secure things like garage door openers, sunglasses, etc. in the glove box or center console.

Even parking at the mall or grocery store I never had anyone even take a USB cable, coin or had any vandalism issues.
