They did refund the deposit or they claim to have. I have not seen it yet.

That doesn't make up for the loss of vehicle, driving 3 hours there and back, etc.

Embarrassing that you can't even buy a car anymore without 25 documents.

Thanks for the sympathy. I know some people here think its fair game, but I'm an enthusiast who saved for months to get screwed at the last step.

Still waiting to hear. Mike was excellent, he can only do so much. Dave my salesman is a great man. Theres some good people out there, but bad seeds ruin it for everyone.

Thanks for letting me speak my side. I hate to even hurt the salesman but i just wish Tidelands would offer something to make up for this.

Hey Razor, I have no clue how to export a car. Never have done it. There were multiple agreements signed. Ill post. I hate that people are claiming I'm a flipper. I own a 72 Stroppe, and a 92 Nite Edition. I added extra options for personal use. I drive a 2002 Lincoln Blackwood which literally leaks when it rains. It was time for a new ride.

Not trying to be contrarian, but only 1 of those documents appear to be signed. The one is just dated 10/6 and the other has a blank highlighted signature line. Only the order from January has an actual signature.

EIther way the dealer is in the wrong since they wouldn't have this Bronco without your order.

Both of those documents were sent an identical times. Yes its not signed (I signed but cannot find where it is yet) but it absolutely shows a contract and intent to enter by both parties. I paid a deposit based on that paperwork as well.

Does someone want to provide us with a copy of their vaunted "signed purchase agreement" that we are all supposed to have which is supposed to protect us here? So far, everyone says that's what we need yet no one knows what one looks like. I signed a build sheet with the date and MSRP on it for the dealer which I have a copy of, but they did not sign that - there's not even a place for them to sign it.

Let's see an example of what some of you think we need here, because so far the discussion seems to be nothing is actually valid if a dealer wants to charge ADM and then sell it to someone else.

*Edit - I'll start a new thread, because this is important for all of us to have and understand as we reorder for 2022.

I've been in contact with them the whole time. Super excited

The documents I provided are above along with texts etc. Not sharing because its a bit personal.

I didn't, we spoke last week about whether I was to finance or pay cash. We decided cash unless the dealer requested financing which is cool.

They sent it they claim, doesn't make it right.

Their whole claim is I was going to flip it, which I was not. I have 2 classics, haven't sold a car since February (Rusty GTO that was inop) and have owned every car I have for over a year besides my 67 GT500 which was bought in March. Flippers dont have 5 cars and not sell anything for 9 months.

Okay, good! I hope the dealer somehow can make this right for you (if it's even possible at this point).

I'd like to know the full story. I'm involved in this thread on FB but there is a lot of missing info. It's just some photos of a reservation, and then a deposit agreement for a badlands, and part of a text message. There is no full story. Something doesn't add up here...

He posted the photo of his First Edition being shipped, my original build was big bend then later I changed it to OBX, nothing missing really, this Is for the guys who thinks a signed agreement is a thing! Mike Levine couldn't resolve this! imagine how bad things are.

The 25k over agreement was sent day of delivery. I told them remove the markup and ill sign the no sales agreement. No bueno, they wanted their cash. Had nothing to do with their stories.

I think the resell contract with ADM was just their convenient way of getting you to refuse, so they could sell to the buyer they already had lined up. They knew a normal person would say no way.
Absolutely, they had to have someone lined up if they got 95k. Thats an insane number.
