Rapid Red / Hot Pepper Red comparison?

Even though my post has degraded to a Texas A&M / University of Texas rivalry, good riddance to both of those programs, i was able to finally find a pepper red Ranger that had sun and shade. I don't agree that this color is anywhere near UT orange, Tennessee Orange or Clemson Orange. It is red at first look. It only trends orange in the sunlight and even then it's more of a blood orange. I personally like it. The only thing I can say about my alum is I wish we had Mike Leach back when we beat A&M every year, now its just embarrassing.

I'm am glad you saw the humor in it. In today's world that's rare.

I was able to snap a pic of a 2019 HPR ranger next to my Ruby Red Explorer a few wks back. It was an overcast day.. and Ruby is slightly different than Rapid, but pretty close

Haven't seen them side by side but have seen both in person albeit on different vehicles. Rapid Red is more of a candy apple red almost, while hot pepper red is more of a burnt red orange

Agreed... my assessment exactly. I'm a big fan of the HPR color since seeing it in person.

I'm with you there....I don't do orange. Ever. For anything. The evil entity in the upstate ruined that one....

Funny. I have yet to see a direct comparison of 2 Broncos side by side using Rapid Red & Hot Pepper Red. With enough of these on the road, I thought we would have seen a picture by now.

Has anyone seen these 2 colors side by side on the bronco. BN eluded to this when they posted the new colors. Just curious.

Got ours today and there was a red car beside our bronco and the bronco looks more orange. It’s great. The cyber orange was yellow and this red is orange so there you have it.
