I am interested in seeing if this can be used to tap a reverse trigger wire as well for aux reverse lights.
Absolutely. If it can power trailer reverse lights, you can run led aux lights also.

I would put a posi-tap on the Curt wiring to a relay to drive some reverse lights, I would probably add in a diode so that the lights can be triggered by the reverse lights or an Aux switch. I am just getting soft about putting a positap on factory wiring... Though I usually drill bigger wholes in new cars, they are not mine.

Guys, don't read something into this that's not there, it is a four way device. From there web ad.
"4-way flat output connects tail lights, brake lights and turn signals"

Agree 100% but it looks like there are wired that are ran straight through for other functions.. I am hoping that one of those wires is a reverse light. I understand that the 4 wire doesn't have the reverse light.

Why no 7 pin connector?
Because it needs a bunch more stuff (charge wire, reverse wire, brake wire) you could add the charge wire and brake wire to a brake controller yourself pretty easy. Most trailers anyone would be towing with a Bronco, likely don't have reverse lights.

The last sheet of the instructions shows the actual wiring. The extra red wire is for a two-wire system.

I was looking at the instruction sheet. Did anyone see where the red fuse wire was used/installed?
OK
So the module is getting power from the wiring harness and does not need a separate power supply?

mmorgan, the red wire and fuse connect to the battery and splice into the black wire. There drawing color is a little off. This is the power for the system.
The red wire going to the harness is for a two wire system (brake and turn signal separate).
