I kind of like how the original Bronco roof rack looks and I want to have it, but at the same time, I want to have 2.7, do you think the aftermarket will come with something similar soon enough?

Yep! There are some posts in the Racks, Carriers and Cargo System sub forum. Gobi is doing an exo setup and SMS is doing another kind.

Thanks, it's a cool option but a little bit overkill for me. I basically like the standard option, but I think to give up 2.7 just for the sake of the rack is maybe not the best decision :) But at the same time, I really need a roofrack.
OEM option should be available as a package through Accessories at some point

Hobbs has one that’s being shown at SEMA and will be for sale probably at the end of November.

bingo... just order it separately from your dealer once its an accessory option. if it has a part number you should be able to order it either way.

My biggest issue with the standard rack is the weight limit

Camburg recently showed off a Bronco build they’ve been working on with a custom roof rack for a rooftop tent. Not sure if they’re going to be selling it later.

Yeah, I so it too and I really hope they will make it happen.

I am wondering if this is the rack limit or the roof limit. Camburg put a heavier tent. Interesting if they know the roof limit or not.

Somewhere on here is a thread with the part numbers and prices. i recall the price comes out to around $1,800 for the factory rack when it does not come with the Bronco from the factory. I asked my dealer today and he said that he has not heard anything different on how it will be made available other than it can be ordered now.

I am interested in the factory system or a similar product to carry my canoe but $1,800 is too much.

Do you have a picture by any chance?
I’m waiting on their response with pictures. I’ll drop them here once I have them. They had a computer generated image of the prototype and it looked halfway decent.

I was going to wait for the Gobi but they won’t have one for a 2 door MIC for a looonnnnggg time and Hobbs confirmed they’ll be dropping the 2 door rack soon, so they get my money.
