Is any company working on roof rack systems?

Somewhere on here is a thread with the part numbers and prices. i recall the price comes out to around $1,800 for the factory rack when it does not come with the Bronco from the factory. I asked my dealer today and he said that he has not heard anything different on how it will be made available other than it can be ordered now.

I am interested in the factory system or a similar product to carry my canoe but $1,800 is too much.

My biggest issue with the standard rack is it’s ugly as shit. That and 110 lb weight limit. The trail sights can hold more. Haha

The same. I like the look and I don't want to have the whole platform on the top, just rails. But the weight limit could be better...

Yeah, it's crazy. I really think they'll release it as a package in the near future though.

Unfortunately it's not visually appealing and won't work w/soft top. I've had a Gobi for years on my 4Runner. The Gobi option is looking real good atm.

That's where I am at too. I want something I can cross-utilize depending on what top I am running. With hopes that Gobi is designing something that even an aftermarket hardtop would work. Staying tuned. Excited to see what Rocky Road and Front Runner come up with too.

A quick update on this - Hobbs is sending me the brush guard to test fit. They are shipping it this week and I will provide updates once I have it and get it installed. They are also sending me the prototype roof rack and but that might not be for another month or so.

I confirmed with Front Runner that they have plans to make a rack. They are waiting to receive their Bronco so could be some time before an actual product is released.

Camburg recently showed off a Bronco build they’ve been working on with a custom roof rack for a rooftop tent. Not sure if they’re going to be selling it later.

Did they happen to mention the weight limitations on that roof rack? I didn't catch it in the vid.

So Hobbs is sending me the brush guard AND the roof rack. They have been in touch to let me know it has to ship crate and they are trying to get a decent quote before sending it across the nation.

I’m not sure why but they sent the rear brackets separately and I just got them today. I’m hoping to hear from them on Monday that the crate is in transit so I can get the parts mounted up. Really looking forward to getting a nice steel rack on the 2 door!
