Is it a bug where you can put the 4.7 ratio diffs on any build combination now?

I confirmed if you go to the 21 B&P page it says sasquatch only when you have the 2.7T/10spd, but on the 2022 B&P it says "optional on all models" and lets me add it to my Non-Sasquatch 2.7T 2 Door.

There is three ways to get the 4.7 axle ratio.

  • Sasquatch package on all trims
  • Badlands trim with the manual transmission (non-Sas)
  • Wildtrak trim (Sas std.)

For MY21 yes, but they are now offering the diffs through ford performance and it would be strange for them to reintroduce the bug in B&P that allows us to select the 4.7 diffs.

According to the 2022 order guide, the axle combinations are the same as they were in 2021.

I also have no idea how you are able to option in 4.7 on any trim on Build & Price. Every time I select 4.7 axle ratio it either takes away the automatic transmission (on Badlands) or automatically adds on Sasquatch. So at least for me, Build & Price seems to be correct.

After seeing this thread I tried it. I'm also able to add the 4.7 final drive ratio to the 2.7L auto non sas for the badlands trim. Could be glitch.

Hah… I have no idea how I am the only person without this problem.

But yeah… assuming the order guide is correct… it’s gotta be a glitch.

Are you sure you are on the 2022 B&P? Like I said, if I go to the 21 B&P it will not let me.

It also says "Available on all Bronco models" on the 4.7 Diff option.

Yeah... it doesn't work for me at all. If I select 4.7 axle ratio it adds on Sasquatch package.

Whatever, the mysteries of build and price. Half the time the little picture of the Bronco won't even render for me.

EDIT: Okay I just tried on my phone and I do have the bug there, but only if you select the 2.7L engine. On my desktop the behavior definitely matches what the order guide says.

But anyway... from the order guide:
Ford Bronco 2022 4.7 Diff on any build? axles.PNG

The "3" footnote says...
3 Available only as Sasquatch™ Package (765) content on 2-Door Advanced 4x4 (E5C) / 4-Door Advanced 4x4 (E5D)

I just tried to add the 4.7 Diff on a 2.7 non Sasquatch and it let me but no price bump so it's a free upgrade (-; This will change with the next update, first of many. We should all be use to this with the first B&P roll out that went so smooth. NOT

I mean, it’s just the diff ratio on the badlands so I can see it being literally just an option you can pick from with no cost.

I would have an easier time believing it was a bug if it didn’t say “available on all bronco models” for the 4.7 ratio.

This bug from last year really pissed me off. The fact that it still remains blows my mind

Wouldn't it mean they would have to re-gear for the 4.7 Dif. If it's at no cost then I'm dropping my Sasquatch pkg. for up-grade wheels and buy after market 35's sell my 33's and save about 1500. fingers crossed

Build & Price was confirmed to have a bug regarding the 4.7 axle, per the moderators on the Bronco Nation forums: Link
