Our Mini Cooper was exactly the same wayI had a number of shops refuse to align my 2004 Volvo S60R after I had replaced hubs and other components in the front end. They claimed it had some mystical suspension they were ill-equipped to service. It has remotely adjustable struts and headlights that auto-level. I now use it as a barometer of the caliber of shop it is when calling for an appointment for work on any of my vehicles. It's my coal mine canary.
Sure, except for the part where everything except the body panels are interchangeable...I owned a 1995 Trans Am that constantly got called a Camaro. They look nothing alike.
They had one on the SAS in the lobby at Austin. For $80 it might be worth a try. There is a bungee cord around the inside perimeter that would have to be cut, but it might work.I wish I could find a nice one for my 35" spare.
I'm down the Shore a month ago, and I pull up out in the street, in front of this pizza shop in Blue. Placing my order, and the girl behind the counter says:I get "nice jeep" and the jeep wave all the time here on the coast when I am in my 1974 Bronco.
The best one was a month ago when a guy asked me if my 74' was the new Bronco.
Thanks for that. Do you know who sold this? Not seeing it in the Ford accessory guide. They had one on the SAS in the lobby at Austin. For $80 it might be worth a try. There is a bungee cord around the inside perimeter that would have to be cut, but it might work.
