Hey y’all,

If you’ve followed my other posts you know that I started off roading this puppy almost as soon as I got her.

Hit Holly oaks right after the break-in period was over and it did everything I asked of it and more.

Today a buddy and I took the bronco from Detroit 3.5 hours to silver lake sand dunes. For highway driving it’s hyper composed and the soft top Sasquatch isn’t all that loud - my friend had never ridden in it before and commented on how it was more quiet than expected.

As for the dunes - I aired down to 15 PSI per tire and had her in sand mode.

Holy hell does this thing FLY.

Dominated every single dune there was. Multiple people on ATV’s even commented on how easily it was tackling hills in which they had seen WRANGLERS stuck on that same day.

As for speed - you can get this thing to absolutely haul ass across the sand all while maintaining composure. Spit roasted every other SUV there with the exception of a TRX.

Few pics and one vid below. Notice how she bucks in the vid. Wild.

Noice! Absolutely love Silver Lake. It’s been a few (ok, several) decades since I’ve been back. What a hoot!

Awesome! We have a place on Lake Michigan, just 6 miles south of Silver Lake. Can't wait to take delivery and hit the dunes in 2022. It is one of the reasons I ordered the Bronco. Can't wait!

Awesome, can't wait to take mine to the dunes next year. Not sure if you're too familiar with the dunes but I've always been told for PSI to go lower, on my jeep I went about 5, my dad said to go like 3 but I didn't have bead locks or anything. Anyone have any other input on this?

My profile pic is at the dunes, but I got rid of the Jeep and last year we rented a Razr 1000 for them and it was awesome. Our family reunion is at the dunes every year.

Non beadlock wheels, I always ran about 12 front/10 rear for sugar sand, if the dunes are wet or hard packed I could run a little higher psi. You start getting too low and it’s very easy to roll a bead. Did that my first time there many years ago (whipping donuts in the soft sand didn’t help lol).

I live about 20 minutes south of the dunes. I know a lot of people enjoy them, but there’s so much more in the way of trails around the area that are just as if not more than enjoyable and nowhere near as crowded. Don’t be afraid to go explore when in the area.

Nice video looks like fun but 15 psi!! Did you use the bead locks? Seems a bit risky without bead locks

Did not use bead locks - though not a bad idea if you want to be doing high speed drifts and such.

Everyone on the dunes was running 15 psi or lower - some folks run 10 psi.
Sketched me out as well, but I had no issues.
