This might be a dumb question but how does one distinguish between the seven trims ?

Grills, wheels, etc. Body-colored fender flares are OBX only.
But none of that is completely reliable on these pre-production models. We've seen quite a few that have a mix of parts.
On the production version you'll have a convenient trim emblem.

Yes it will. Was just addressing comments about proportions. For highway use that setup will be great.

Looking at the size of the wheels/tires, it reminds me a little of the G wagon by Mercedes.

I have the exact same thought, extremely reminiscent of the G wagon.

Looks like that render has the longer 2-door doors on the 4-door... making the whole thing look like a limo...

...the kind of limo I wish was around when I was going to prom.
