“Have not notified Ford yet” but yea pls share it on a forum first.
Don't worry, you'll get a new poster out of this. Totally worth it.

Bad news, folks. This is a MIC 2.0 top built 10/1, delivered 4 days ago.

Top looked excellent at pickup. Did not notice any issues.. 4 days later, I notice I can see the old issue returning. Have not notified Ford yet.

Check your MIC tops CLOSELY on the rearmost panel by the windows. Appears to be pulling apart a bit.

I'll have a lot more photos and any other misc info coming shortly.

BTW, Im happy to delete this and bite the bullet if the forum wants to go that way. Im not in love with the idea of being the reason of another delay.

There is also slight honeycombing.

Im going to use some high strength epoxy with gray pigment to reinforce the edging. My plan is to rub it in the openings all along the edge and then clean it off the visible panel. That should reinforce the edging while sealing out water.

I would really refrain from trying to fix/repair these tops yourself with "magic putty". Let the dealer or Ford fix it. If you do they may say YOU screwed it up with a bad fix.
Make it their problem not yours...

Well...there ya go. We trust Ford to fix MIC top properly and they let us down. Fool me once...

Ford has done more to damage their brand more than any other company I can remember...save for Enron.

Chances are that a bulletin will be released to dealers to do a magic putty repair anyway. I've seen plenty of band-aid fixes at dealers.

And if anyone is on the fence deciding on getting a soft top instead- why not? This mic top version Bronco is already a wind, engine, and road noise monster anyway. The best way I describe this vehicle is that it sounds and rides nice- but not too nice. It is perfectly rugged- as it should be.

Great I can already see my late 21 build getting cancelled. Let them ship ‘‘em out and fix them later. No one is gunna get their broncos if we keep doing this crap lol. I’m not justifying the poor quality but as a 2 door order I want my damn bronco. Plus it will cost ford more in the end to ship tops after all the deliveries…let’s really stick it to them and let them
Ship a bunch before they have to fix them! Who’s with me! 😂

My MIC top, built October 7, Delivered October 21, is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship and I've seen no flaws or blemishes in the few days I've had the OBX. I hope your issues not usual, are the odd exception.

They probably won't get this right until the next supplier takes over production, which will probably be sometime in 2023.
