I might wrap it, depending on the pricing of the hard tops that Ford will offer. I honestly don't think if I matched the body color (antimatte blue) it would hold up as long due to the plastic material and perhaps wrapping might be a better option? I don't have experience with wraps, but I like to hear your feedback.

In the video it looked like the top was pebble finish if that is so wrap might not work as its an uneven surface ,maybe someone with wrap expirence can confirm if its possible?
I dont see why you would want to just paint it and be done.

I wasn't sure if painting would hold well due to hard top material, but it also depends how much Ford wants to charge for the hard tops. Maybe i'll just leave it black instead of color matching the body.

I would think the reason would be cost.. From what I've seen most on here say that wrap is way more affordable. Now to paint the roof, I could easily see that costing upwards of $1000. Unless of course you go the spray can route. ?

Yeah. I'll wrap it . . . in bubble wrap and moving blankets and store it permanently in my garage. It'll never be on!

Okay, back to reality.

I hope the white top is a thing, if not, I've seen some pretty cool retro renderings that could be duplicated with wraps. Could be fun.

I like the wrinkle texture (or pebble) and hope to be able to get bumpers to match. If not, i'll do it myself, I think the wrinkle texture looks good, and lower maintenance

I think the aftermarket will cover different top colors so not terribly concerned at the beginning.

Pricing is the thing. I have no clue what they're planning to charge for a four door hard top

I think the top would be the part I didn't wrap.

Buy an OJ white Bronco and wrap parts orange that actually looks orange. Leave the top, fenders and a few areas of trim white.

Still in love with white top on cactus grey. Looks like an instant classic. I can’t believe their not making that factory.

so...what’s the best way to correct it post purchase? Wraps? Paint? Cost? How long do wraps last?
Paint would be most durable i will check this week for you on price since so many are interested ,but the actual paint is expensive you would only do it once .
