I love my bronco but was surprised when my hardtop started the popping. I will be notifying dealer.

Mine too. It's the alignment pin over the driver side for me. I notice the front pins have a rubber condom and that rear pin does not. I took the panel off, cleaned around the pin and secured it tightly. Problem solved.

If it comes back, I'm going to put a little graphite lube on the pin or try to find a rubber condom to throw on it like the front pins.

How about return it to the dealer and get it fixed? MIC 3.0 in the works yet?

Would a piece of shrink wrap over the pins work?

likely. I think I saw someone post something about a piece of high density foam but I didn't quite understand what he meant at the time I saw it. Now it makes total sense.

I've got a squeak/creak wherever I am on anything other than a perfectly smooth road.

Unlike you guys mine seems to be coming from the passenger rear corner of the cab portion. If I pop the swing gate glass and then pull on that edge of the opening it recreates the noise.
It looks like its where two parts of the panel have been bonded together.

Any of you getting anything from that back corner/do anything to fix it?

Hereā€™s my post on the solution you mentioned. It has worked for two different MICs so give it a shot and report back. The second time I did this I used a much thinner piece about 1/8ā€ thick and it worked just as well.

Your exactly right, same spot for me. I haven't done too much about it yet as it is raining and I just usually unlock and lock the keepers there and it will stop for a few days, lol.

Thanks man. I tried like hell to find your post again.
No problem- happy to help. I hope it works for you. Iā€™m surprised more people havenā€™t shown interest in my solution. I guess as more folks take delivery that might change.

I came to the same conclusion you did after examining the pins and realized it was exactly what you were talking about. Some of the pins are missing that little rubber condom and sure enough, those are the pins squeaking. I have your post bookmarked now to spread the good word.

Mine has started making a very subtle noise, but I'm not sure it's the top. It sounds like it's more like driver left foot...but I have no idea.

If I take the top off, no way will I be able to hear it either way.
