No, not released to you, only shipped to the dealer. All those affected units have a stop sale placed on them and Ford is placing the onus on the dealership to repair/replace, but @Ford refuses to even provide the parts number for the airbags to be ordered, and they won’t give any info beyond “4th quarter”, whatever that means. I’ve seen 11/15 as a date when notices will be mailed out, but who are they mailing them to exactly? They are all at the dealers and have never been titled, and that notification is just that, so who knows when the hell they’ll ever get around to it. It’s just insane seeing builds being delivered which we’re literally built during the time that mine has been sitting for this recall, and after already having been sitting for months longer with the top issue. It’s inept and just shameful that Ford handles issues that they’ve create so poorly, and at the cost of customers. They need to realize that this vehicle is not just a “play thing” for many, but in fact is needed for a family vehicle replacement and that we’ve all made decisions about our purchasing based upon when the trucks should have been delivered.

I’ve replied and tweeted @mrlevine every chance about the airbag issues, wanting him to give us a real time/date, and he of course has zero interest in replying to any of that. Just disgraceful for a person whose title is “director of communications”. I would love for him to actually communicate something of substance for once.I finally got a response from Mike Levine on twitter…. But it was pointless.
I know your frustration. I had almost this same exact conversation via Twitter as well. I was actually surprised that while @mrlevine insists on ignoring us all, at least Ford replied and it gave me some hope, but alas it was all for not. They gave me the same BS run around, ultimately telling me to contact the dealer despite me saying over and over I have and that how are they supposed to tell me anything when Ford isn’t communicating to them? They were clearly reading from a script and refusing to provide any info of substance, which I don’t understand. How can they be unable to say when an airbag will be shipped out for a repair? It’s not that complicated. This whole process is just sick and twisted.
I’m in day 10 post build email with no shipped email yet.
And we thought once the Built email went out, it would all go well.....

Why is my vehicle still not delivered? I am seeing First Editions with every date after mine getting delivered. Order Date, Blend Date, Build Date all LATER than me yet they have their truck?

Hi. And as I mentioned earlier, my dealership said it was ridiculous that you are sending me to them because they are getting nothing from Ford. Here is a quote from their message to me: "I am sorry I cannot answer that for you. We do not have any control of the vehicle until it gets dropped off to us sir. Ford Motor Company handles the order processing and building of the vehicles along with the shipping and delivery to dealerships. For them to direct you to us for info on why there is delays is down right wrong for them to do as we do not get info from them."
