Thanks For posting. Was thinking about that exact tire model/size on my truck, which looks otherwise identical to yours. Looks as good as I’d hoped.

I have the same Build coming in a few weeks. Did the level kit make it ride rougher than stock. Did you do the 6 ply BFG vs the heavier 10 ply. I am thinking the lighter tires will be better for drivability and fuel economy I would love to know which one to use exactly

Looking Good!! Same thing on the constraints. Got passed up and did the change and a week later I got a build date.

Did they take the crash bars out to fit the 33s?

Thanks. My dealer doesn't do lifts so I'll be taking it to TC Customs in Bham once I take delivery. Should be a fun little road trip.
Just take it up to Southern Off Road Specialists in Cumming. They are putting my Zone 2" lift on my OBX on wed. The shop is very impressive and everyone up there is super nice. I swapped my OBX wheels/tires for a set of sasquatch take-offs.

We should def have an Atlanta meetup or maybe a North GA trail run! I've never owned a 4WD vehicle and would love to do a few trails with a group. Or if there is anywhere closer in North Fulton would be great to know any good spots as well.

Thank you. I'll definitely check out Southern Off Road.
I'd love to do a meet up at some point and hit some trails. I don't have a vin yet, but I do have a Badlands Bronco Sport that I put some bigger tires on to keep me patient. Pretty fun and at the same time I can't wait to trade it in for the real deal.

I will let the OP reply but he posted a pic that shows C load (roughly equivalent to 3 ply) and I don't believe he drove it before the mods.

Not sure on either question unfortunately- i didn’t drive it before the mods. It rides like a smooth truck. I can’t imagine that the level changed the ride any. I did drive a Sasquatch loaner while they were finishing mine and it is slightly rougher than the Sasquatch. But I actually like it. To me it feels like it should, if that makes sense.

As far as the tires go, I didn’t know there were ply options. I just told my dealer to put on 33 BFG KO2S and that’s what came on it. They’re whatever they keep in stock because they are so popular, so I doubt they’re anything special.

no, they fit without removal.

Man, thank you for this! I have a Black Diamond in green on order, specifically because of the steelies and the grill (and the rock rails)... and I was planning on putting bigger tires on and these look perfect! You might have also convinced me to do a level kit. Looks great.

well congratulations! I think you nailed the absolute best non-squatch configuration. And I need to confess, I have the exact same setup planned with one exception, I am changing the steelies to Method wheels

The 1" level, combined with 285/70/17 is just the perfect solution on a BD. With the rear locker, TTA and trail control/one pedal - this thing will go almost anywhere, granted, with a few exceptions where the larger tires of a squatch just have the advantage.

It looks really good, you did a great job - congrats!

Curious for those that have installed the 1 inch leveling kit...I was going to purchase the one for 60 bucks from TC Customs but how hard is it to install on your own for someone who is a novice at it? Does it also make a big difference if I already have my BD squash?

Took delivery yesterday! Area 51 Black Diamond Soft Top - 2.3 mid package. Added a 1 in front level and 33 BFG KO2s and I think she’s perfect!

Thank you all for all the information through the looooooong wait. I was a day 3 reservation but had all the deadly constraints on my original build, then switched over to this one and had a build date within a week.

Got it at Two Rivers Ford outside of Nashville, TN and Matthew Barker was incredible to work with. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!!

Edit: Added more pics! Put the vintage Bronco script on today from Bronco Depot USA! Car seats fit well and I’m one happy dude!

Whoa, what a compliment! Thank you! I just did what I liked. Classic and simple. But sometimes simple is best!

Thank you Ford! Two Rivers is awesome. You guys need to give Matthew Barker and his team some kind of award or something!
