Here is what I know:

1. #EF06A21160120068 MB3E 6007 AA FAILED
2. #EF06A21180120249 MB3E 6007 AA NOT DELIVERED
3. #EF06A21161120300 MB3E 6007 AA FAILED
4. #Unknown FAILED

#1 Broncoshrimp's 2021 160st day; June 9th.
#2 mpeugeot's 2021, 180th day; June 29.
#3 69 Mach I's 2021 161st day; June 10th.
#4 estone 2021 209th day; July 28

Here's what I predict, I have a bad day in my near future approaching. So suspect motors are all 6007-AA so far from sequence 120068-120300.
This doesn’t make me feel good.
just checked and my sequence number is “…21160120013”. Just over 1500 on the vlick and no issues yet.🤞

Drew Peroni had a failure on his. Would be interesting to see what his sequence is.

New engines are always a risk, and I think (?) the 2.7 is new.

glad you were able to get things moving though - consider yourself lucky; typically ford customer services doesn’t do shit!

I have a 2.7 on my f150 that has over 120000 miles on it. And has been rock solid. Seems like this batch is bad

I have never had to deal with Ford Customer Service, but so far the rep I have been dealing with has been extraordinary. She actually called again this afternoon to follow up and ensure me the rental car fees would be refunded. I asked her if it would be possible to have the Bronco delivered back to my town, 150 miles away from dealership where it was dropped it off, when it is repaired. She said that if the dealership didn't cooperate to arrange shipment, give her a call and she would make sure that it's shipped to me! She then said she'd check back with me in a couple days to see how things are going and give me updates. She also mentioned taking care of the payment for this month. When I stated the Bronco is paid off, she said she'd see about getting me credit for maintenance. I hope the credit is at the local dealership! LOL

Ya, you're not far away... but it one takes being one sequence number away sometimes!

No, the motor really isn't new, but it is a unique assembly as a whole. It all depends on what is really going on and how many engines were affected at what point in the process. It could be only Bronco, but it may not be.

Maybe if @Ford Motor Company would stop hiding and start talking, we could actually feel like we didn't have to piece it all together ourselves. They really are not doing themselves any favors...

This is encouraging. While it sucks to have this issue, great customer service on the back end like this can sure make it sting a lot less.

There is some good research out there that supports the idea that companies can build loyalty during these situations if they're great at taking care of customers who have issues. Wish more would do this - and that Ford did it more consistently.

Thank you for reporting back with positive news. Bronco6g is all about being negative at every opportunity and this update should push this thread towards +

what does the 6007 AA mean? My engine is 21159 20217 as well. 2.7 base, 1500 miles on it and its driving like a champ so far lol.

MB3E-6007-AA is the part number you would use to order the complete engine (other part numbers are compatible MB3Z-6006-A, MB3Z-6007-A, MB3Z-6007-B, etc).

Your motor was built on 21159 or June 8th. I think you missed a digit, (120217) would put you right in the middle of the sequence. So 3,500 miles has been the high cutoff so far. Glad it's running great!
