1) It's not exposed to the elements, it's in your engine bay. So it can get some water/dirt on it but not like it's sitting outside.Other than having airbags that may require a constant supply of air from a device like this, what is the benefit of having it hard mounted to the vehicle (exposed to elements and not portable) comparted to a portable unit that isn't exposed and is portable?
Great question. I’d like to use it to inflate my inflatable kayaks. Anybody know of an adaptor that works, let us know! Can I ask a dumb question? if I buy an adapter kit like this, can I use it with an ARB compressor to inflate my paddleboard?
Air is air. If you can use a normal compressor you can use the ARB, as it's a compressor...Great question. I’d like to use it to inflate my inflatable kayaks. Anybody know of an adaptor that works, let us know!
We don't carry their air inflation kit (no margins on it). You can use any hose kit/air accessories with the ARB though.Do you also carry the ARB inflation kit? Or is a hose included with the compressor?
Not sure where to put the coupler yet. That's more of a personal preference thing. I plan to just use the one on top of the air compressor myself.Anyone plan on extending and mounting the air coupling? If so, where? Thanks.
I was honestly thinking of a spot to relocate the quick disconnect. Hard to pick when you live in a state that gets snow and salt lol I did read on ARB’s site that depending on the length of the relocation hose it has to be a certain diameterAnyone plan on extending and mounting the air coupling? Yeah there are a lot of options. An exterior rated spot with a capped outlet would be great. On my 2nd to last F150 I had, I had it in the bumper (the bumper itself had a little storage area with a door you could put stuff in).I was honestly thinking of a spot to relocate the quick disconnect.
