Dude nice garage.2 inch lift installed. Time to go play. Heading up to an easy one Chinawall. Post pics later.
It rubbed a few times when it stuffed a tire but not bad. Not enough I want to lift it anymore. HahaAny rubbing while off-roading? Looks great with the lift.
The non sas Badlands has the same suspension as the Sasquatch. It actually has more travel. The SAS has a spacer that limits the travel to compensate for the 35'sMy first impression of a two door on 315s was “those look just a little cartoonishly big and 33’s are probably the sweet spot”.
But the Squatch springs ride better than the Badlands at the same tire pressure.
Ended up going Sasquatch, but will consider 295 or 285s for the next set if I feel like they are too big / causing bad road manners.
Drove both. The springs are different. The non sas Badlands has the same suspension as the Sasquatch. It actually has more travel. The SAS has a spacer that limits the travel to compensate for the 35's
Ok ChiefDrove both. The springs are different.
Ok Chief
We can finally answer the ongoing Bronco question, "how much lift" does each trim level have compared to the others?
Now that we have the Ford General Specifications document, Bilstein Coilover Information and Ford Part Number information we can finally get a clear and complete picture on what the stock Bronco lift dimensions are and what is possible to lift each trim level. In this discussion the goal is always to maintain maximum functionality of your Bronco for off-road use. If you want to do something for looks only, you may be able to bend the rules a little and do a budget lift, but you want to be cautious of tire rub, binding, CV joints and steering component damage or other unintended consequences.
Vaughn Gittin Jr. or Loren Healey (both Bronco racers) said something to the effect, to put 37" tires on the Sasquatch you need to go up 2 inches and out 2 inches. Going out 2 inches most likely will require new control arms. On the other hand, Ryan of 4WP, only recommended new control arms when doing a lift 3 inches or higher. Further, he prefers a +35 wheel offset to maintain the ideal scrub radius to minimize wear on components. While this thread cannot possibly address every variable, these are general guidelines that each manufacture will handle differently, depending on the lift kits they offer.
Each of the below tables can be read separately to understand the information or points made within that table. Some data is repeated in other tables to provide clarity or present the information in a different way to make it understandable to the most number of people. This thread is intended to help newbies and experienced alike, with those more knowledgeable forum members helping others learn the ropes of suspension modifications and lift. Please post any corrections or clarifications you feel are needed.

Agreed... did the Off-Roadeo in Austin over the weekend and was trailing a non-SAS. I felt bad he skid, hit and bashed multiple times and I think I only had one tiny skid all day in my 4D SAS. My wife is even now a full SAS believer!I thought 33's would be fine until I did the Off-Roadeo. On the day I drove with 33's I was making good use of the skid plates. One the day with SAS, I don't think I used them a single time.
That experience made me add SAS to my order.
Yaasss. You’re speaking my language.2 inch lift installed. Time to go play. Heading up to an easy one Chinawall. Post pics later.
Spare tire?
Look's dope. Congrats. It looks proper, a little more of a lift would be better. I am interested to see how the stock axles, upper and lower arms hold up. What kind of lift did you get? And what is you gearing?I have a lift just have not installed it yet. Took delivery just over 3 weeks ago. Picked up some 37x12.50r17 Thompson Baja Boss MTs and Black Rhino Garison Beadlocks with 0 offset. Plan on installing 2 inch lift this weekend. 2.3 Eco with 7 speed manual. Still managing just over 20 mpg mixed driving here in thin air Colorado. I did have cut about 3/4" of the factory slider off for the tires to clear at full lock(pic below). But I already put 250 miles on it with no lift rubs inner fender sometimes at full lock and hit bump. Hopefully lift Saturday and Wheeling on Sunday.
