the rest of the world usually gets the ranger before north america. and sometimes it's completely different. but this new model for north america would probably be made where the current one is being made in michigan.
Honestly I think NA is prepping to send the current Ranger out with a bang. They keep teasing that god damn Ranger Raptor.

I really wanted a truck, and I got the 2 door sasquatch. Doesn't look like ill be hauling anything! lol.

BTW, I love my bronco!!!
We really like the Ranger! came real close to getting one in 2019. Bought an F150 instead for the towing capacity! So we have that for truck stuff! AND our Bronco is on a damn train somewhere between Texas and Michigan!

The whole reason I’m getting a Bronco is the manual transmission. If the Ranger offers one as well, I might consider switching.
If I was still waiting and they gave the Ranger the 7 speed on anything other than the bottom of the barrel trim, I'd switch in a heart beat. A Ranger sized truck is better suited to my needs.

I don't love the new Ranger looks like the Bronco, but I think it would grow on me over time.

I like the workbench option! I wonder if you can use clamps on the F150 tailgate like they show in the pics? That is the best feature of this truck!

The Australian automotive designers have done some great cars in the past. They are mostly responsible for the V8 used in North American Camaros and Vettes.

2" wider making this the first generation ranger (and possibly "midsize") that can load sheet goods flat on the bed. The ranger is literally in F150 range now.
How much bigger is the full size range going to get now?
Ford is probably the only manufacturer who can have 4 different sized trucks and not have any substantive cannibalization.

Probably a better fit for me except for one thing, Bronco will fit in the garage, Ranger won’t (at least not without moving a bunch of stuff around)
Same, wife kept telling me I should get a ranger(when all the bronco delays were happenign). Would have to move everything out of my side of the garage to barely fit the ranger in.

I think it looks great... for a pickup. If I was looking for a pickup, I would definitely consider this.

I would think it is more of direct internal competition to the F150 than the Bronco but what do I know.

Design is great improvement over the ugly truckling of current gen. You can see the Ford in it, like a baby f150.

This is not Bronco competition. If I want a truck, I'm getting an F150 not a Ranger. No comparison.

In my opinion, nothing with a fixed roof is competition for the Bronco. It might sway a small % of people that would buy a Bronco primarily for offroad capabilities, and people that prefer trucks, but I would guess the removeable roof/doors goes a long way with the majority of Bronco buyers.

Looks great and the interior is vastly better than the bronco.
