How much room could you get if you adjusted the passenger seat all the way forward? Then maybe add a hinge and support that side to make room for a noggin or maybe a couple feet......Looks good..have any progress pics as you were building...would love to copy as this is what im gonna do and dont want to re-invent the wheel?
You would gain 10 inches of more space. How much room could you get if you adjusted the passenger seat all the way forward? Then maybe add a hinge and support that side to make room for a noggin or maybe a couple feet......
Looks great! I understand the rear seats have wired sensors on them....curious what you did with the sensors to avoid any electronic issues or "warnings". ThanksNuked my back seats on my 2-Door and made a deck from wood to fit the contour. The deck fit just fine from the front to the back with out bolting down. Between the bolt tops, side seatbelt brackets and the rear tailgate lip it just fit level. Covered in a Lowes outdoor 5x7 rug cut down to fit. I have a working trapdoor that just needs just cut out that the carpet is still covering. Simple KISS design. Had to unbolt the speaker to get it through the back door.

I just detach the seatbelt female end clip from the seats and plugged them back in. They tuck in fine under the factory foam carpet. No warning signal sent now.Looks great! The rear seats on a 2-door are very easy to take out. Takes 10 minutes or less. Not sure on the 4-door.Wow, great job. How much of a pain was it to take the seats out? wonder if this would be worth as a temp conversion for longer solo trips, then put the seats back in
nice! Definetly going to try it then. thank youThe rear seats on a 2-door are very easy to take out. Takes 10 minutes or less. Not sure on the 4-door.

You did an amazing job! You could prolly sell this as a kit, or, at least a DIY Template project. I really like that it's not bolted down. Nicely done!!Here is the front support. The boards velcro in place to the floor deck. This project cost lest than $100 bucks and is not bolted down, snug fit into place.
Hi, not sure as I don't mbike but the area is 43 inch wide at the back and 53 inches long to the front. The front is 50 plus inches wide. It looks like it would fit two bikes. So with your set up… Can you fit two mountain bikes in the back with the front wheels off?
I really don’t like the idea of having a 3 foot bike rack sticking out past the spare?
Well done! Nice play.Nuked my back seats on my 2-Door and made a deck from wood to fit the contour. The deck fit just fine from the front to the back with out bolting down.
