Bronco Gals

So, my barely-hanging-on daily driver (2006 Subaru Baja) is getting less reliable, and the chances of getting my Bronco this year seem to be sliding from slim to none. I'm trying to decide if I should buy another old beater and hope it can hold together without costing me too much money or just buying something nice (new or newish) and trading when the Bronco is ready.

Any suggestions? I'm pretty much open to all ideas.
