Is anyone here in Ohio experiencing a positive dealer relationship regarding their Bronco order? Please describe.

Mine isn’t awful, and since placing my order earlier this year, I have reached out for information four times... twice ignored. The Bronco specialist there denied the deadly options announced before May 19th saying only modular roof was an issue. No proactive contact or updates. Makes me think I chose poorly.

Modular roof was only thing pushing you to 2022 probably. The other things are likely just constraints that may or may not cause delay. As stated in here before, they build what they can with what they have. So if you ordered tow package, they get so many components to build so many vehicles with what they have on hand. Tomorrow they may or may not have tow package components so they move to other vehicles. I'm sure they have never had constraints at this level so they're playing it by ear. Kinda hard for the dealers to know what Ford is doing when Ford really has no idea what it's doing besides building what it can. They really shouldn't ignore anybody honestly though. I can imagine they are pretty busy trying to field bronco related calls though.

Since I placed my order, I was called to see if I wanted the free headliner. That's all I can realistically expect since we are all in the same boat.

I've had a pretty decent experience with my dealer. Once they finally locked on one person as the "Bronco" rep its been pretty smooth sailing. He's usually responded to my emails within a couple of hours.

Thank you @Butzy and @DonM
I appreciate your responses! Yeah... I've not had any proactive communication about the headliner (my build is a BL with MGV) - in fact, the specialist told me it would automatically switch. I just haven't the time or energy... I think my order lacks the headliner. Of the two times I emailed him, he only responded once after nearly a week.
I've been low maintenance, non-Karen, and I even took a Bronco license plate in for my salesrep and the specialist... I don't think I'm asking for much considering I just walked in and said "take my money"... but again, I chose poorly.
We'll see what today's e-mail says - I haven't received a build date e-mail.

@BigMex my salesman asked me if I wanted to switch. It didn't sound automatic. Those who don't want it, don't want it. Maybe my salesman was just checking to make sure I wanted it so it didn't automatically change if I didn't. BD with mgv....

I'm glad you posted this. I've had a poor experience with my dealer in Columbus. I was given a new salesperson when my initial guy left and I still can't get any information regarding my status. Every time I ask, "the manager that handles the reservations and orders isn't working today." They also asked me if I received anything from Ford....like I would be asking them if I did. I'm still just as much in the dark now as I was when I actually placed my order back in January. I've just come to live with that fact and knowing that I am further than a lot of people who made reservations long after I did. At least besides the priority orders etc. lol

@S4DDLUP and @Butzy I appreciate you sharing your experiences.

Maybe I'm just being too passive, I'm just gonna let things be especially considering today's e-mail update. I'm one of those who'd gladly switch to dual tops if it meant getting my rig (with hardtop wiring & plumbing) sooner and my MIC later. I'd even drop the tow package, since all I immediately need it for is my bicycle carrier...

...but with the non-responsiveness of the dealer, I just don't wanna have my order screwed with, because I want the Bronco bad enough I put up with this crap. Regardless, when the supply and demand curves are so skewed this way, I at least recognize my lack of leverage.

As I consider a short-termer (2 year lease or something like that) I might have gotten a Ranger or a BSport from my Bronco dealer, but with their lack of responsiveness, I think I'll go get a Taco to hold me over for now.

What dealerships are you guys working with? I initially had my reservation in with Roush and switched to Germain.

@S4DDLUP

I started with Roush. They couldn't answer any of my questions, and always said they were going to get back with me after checking with their boss. They never got back to me so I switched to Germain.

"I know both owners. One has a business, and one has an ego." Was stated to me in conversation at work.

At the end of the day if theyve met your needs, I'm not sure you'll find any better terms than no mark up around Columbus.

I’m going to stay put. My experience hasn’t been perfect or awful. Seems like it is more trouble than it is worth, and I imagine that current business is a higher priority than the maybe business of the Bronco.
