Welcome to the group! Been a hot minute since I made it down to Lake Charles

Do you have a bronco reserved in Lake Charles? (I’m in Lake Charles as well). Currently holding a reservation with Bolton Ford.

Bolton has been very vague about what they plan for the Broncos. I’m waiting to see what comes of the Texas group buy. If that doesn’t bear any fruit then I’m just gonna haul one down from granger in Des Moines.

@LSUBRONCO I’ve always heard decent things about Bolton but I have had nothing but terrible communication experiences from them since reserving the Bronco. I spoke with a sales manager/bronco specialist at Benoit Ford in Derrider and he has been the best guy I’ve spoke with yet (outside of Albert at Granger). Both Benoit and Bolton plan to sell at msrp but will accept x-plan.

@Supernaut @LSUBRONCO it’ll cost you about $1000-$1200 to ship your car here from Granger. Or just make a flight and drive back but it is a big trip to save $1000-$1300. I’m tempted to switch to Benoit ford simply on the customer service. Those guys want to talk to you about Broncos and want the business. Seems like Bolton doesn’t.

How you guys holding up down there?

Just now getting back around to the forum. We had damage, but I same minimal compared to the rest of Lake Charles. To continue my saga with lack of communication with Bolton Ford, I’ve determined I’m switching to Benoit Ford in Derrider. I have emailed and called Bolton asking to speak with a sales manager about 10+ times now. They avoid my calls at all cost. Their most recent response was to have a sales guy text me instructions on how to reserve a Bronco.. When I spoke to the sales guy informing him why I wanted to speak with a sales manager and I already have a reservation, I asked him if they were going to be receiving any Bronco Sports in Cyber Orange as that is the color I’m leaning towards but need to see it in person. He told me the Bronco Sport doesn’t come in Cyber Orange. Not sure how a sales guy at Ford doesn’t know the Bronco Sport comes in CO. I’m beyond over dealing with these clowns over here. Benoit Ford has my sale. No ADM and accepts X-Plan. Another big thing for me is that these fools at Bolton are not “car” people. Seems like they don’t know or understand anything technical or even non-technical. The guy at Benoit knows his stuff. Im beyond confident that Benoit is the right decision for me.

@Supernaut glad to hear relatively low damage. Smart move to switch dealers. I'm considering it if my local guys don't work with me some to match Granger's deal or offer a lifetime power train warranty, which another dealer nearby offers.

@BOLD Renegade93 Which dealer is offering that warranty? I’m not even aware of what the standard warranty on the Bronco is.
