@Trays It's been a while for me, but there are areas around Jean/Primm that race buggys use. I played on those tracks a bit in and around the dry lake bed. drove off road down to Primm and played in some mud along the way. Then headed over the mountains into Boulder City and drove back home from there. Not to strenuous and pretty hard to get lost.

@Trays There are also trails that go up and through the Mt. Charleston area. Lots of pine forest and wild horses. We're relatively close to Moab too.

Hello! living in Reno. My reservation is in Carson City Capital Ford. I was told by them they want a $500 deposit at order, not sure if refundable or not. Where are you guys/gals buying yours?

I just pulled up Fords website. It shows you can reserve for $100 still and the dealer it will transfer to is Capitol Ford. How soon you will get your new vehicle is really hard to say at this time. The dealership is doubtfully going to get one here faster.

Yeah, she just told me "hopefully" they will get one in November to at least look at. I am sure all dealers are saying and hoping that they will. Gotta be tough dealing with people and trying to sell them a truck sight unseen. Imma do it though..: )

Yes, she did confirm to me that the $500 deposit is fully refundable.

I've only been in Nevada for a bit over a year and this is my first car purchase in the State. Word of mouth told me to avoid the Reno dealership and they were not taking reservations anyway, so the closest one was Carson City.

I don't really mind the deposit, IF we can see/drive the vehicle before ordering, otherwise it is problematic.The Rep did say they were selling them at MSRP with no mark-ups.

Mac... I would ask the dealer to show you a Ranger 4x4...same/similar chassis and power train... And if he's a good guy... Let you test drive it! ?

I'll probably do that at some point, just not the same thing. They did get back to me and said the deposit is fully refundable and they are "hoping" to have a bronco (which?) on lot by Nov..

I could totally be out in left field here, but pre orders are supposed to be fulfilled before dealer stock. That is what Ford promised and if you put in a pre order now delivery is expected sometime in 2022. As is, IF Capitol gets one on their lot it will be a refusal from a pre order late 2021. Unless something changed pre orders are only $100 if you go use the Ford website and it will end up at Capitol Ford.
