Got a chance to drive this one at Leif Johnson Ford today. Great crew over there.

A couple thoughts.

This is the 2.3 Big Bend, soft top, manual.

In the pictures, I always thought the Big Bend tires needed a little more cowbell. Maybe a little too small. Frankly, in person, I thought they looked much better. I get the more is always better theory, but this looked really good.

I really thought I wanted a manual transmission. Now I'm thinking differently. The clutch travel and shifts are very long and clunky. I think it would get tiresome in daily driving. And I thought it could use more power. I'm now more inclined to go auto and buy up to the 2.7.

The soft top was loud. And a lot of wind noise came from the lights on top.

My first one to see in person, though. It looks great.
