Nevada Dealerships:

I wanted to post on here just the Nevada Dealerships for those in the state to take a look from an earlier post made. It just makes it easier to talk simply Nevada ones here. As we get closer, we can discuss what each one is telling us. I for example have my reservation with Friendly Ford in Las Vegas. I'll be following up with them to see if they change any of this info.

Just reserved mine, I know I’m kinda late. But the approved Ford dealer in Reno is Corwin Ford Reno.

Did you happen to ask about any additional dealer markups, x-plan, discounts, or doc fees? I'll update this Nevada list.

Capitol Ford did say they would honor the x-plan but at this time had no info on further discounts. The fees were not discussed at this moment. No markup either

It may not matter much to some, but the tax rate in Carson is the lowest of the 3 counties where approved dealerships are located. Clark county is 8.375%, Washoe is 8.265%, and Carson is 7.6%. The commercials are kind of true. Drive a little and save at least a few hundred depending on the total price. Food for thought.

@Tazn69Bronco Using the latest spreadsheet another user posted, comparing Clark County to Carson tax on my Badlands build I was at $4,455 and $4,043 respectively. So a couple hundred could be saved by going with Carson. So good point.

Hopefully between now and when our orders arrive Ford is willing to offer a few rebates. I guess it depends on your credit but a 2020 F-150 could be purchased with as much as 5k +/- in rebates to start if im reading Capitols website correctly! That could make a nice dent in someones overall bill!

Did anyone find out about Gaudin doing X-Plan? I see that they said yes, but I called and they weren't sure. I talked to someone at Friendly and they said yes to all trims.

@cball823 Not sure. I pulled that info from the main thread on dealerships so I never confirmed for any other one besides Friendly.
cball823
Yeah, I may end up moving my reservation over to Friendly if that is the case. Would be nice to save some money off the FE. I plan on going to ask in person at Gaudin before I do that though.

Went down to Gaudin and they said they would be doing X-Plan. So that was nice confirmation.

Randy Block at Friendly Ford is handling the Bronco accounts. He said they will accept all plans A,Z,X etc. Doc Fees are $495 and Broncos will be sold at MSRP.

I will be going elsewhere out of state.

@Megawatt why are you going out of state? Looking for a discount or was the service an issue?

All has to do with savings. If Friendly is only doing MSRP and other dealers can offer the same product for invoice Price or even $1000 under invoice then I would have to consider. Would love to keep business local but if they can’t do better than MSRP I have to look around.

@Megawatt that’s understandable. I was hoping more dealerships would have followed those with discounts and notice how many people switch to them and get more business but I haven’t been seeing that as much as I wished for. We’ve got until end of October to switch so there’s still some time so fingers crossed.

@Megawatt have you moved to another dealer out of state? I booked at Ford Country. Waiting for input from them on pricing etc. I haven't look out of state yet for better pricing.

@LVKnight Have you had much communication with Ford Country? I initiated a couple times, but they seem very disinterested to communicate a plan.

@LVKnight Not yet. Still looking to see who will be the closest dealer with savings. So far local is MSRP and x-plan is about $1000 more than dealer with $1000 under Invoice. But I have to drive there and that reduces the savings. It might be Asher for me to stay local, drive across town and be done. Otherwise it’s road trip, hotel, gas, etc.

The negotiated Texas DealEr to be announced Most likely after B&P is out.
