Was there during this past Feb 3rd to 7th cold snap - covered the west side pretty good, but missed all the good stuff on the east side. Would be interested to learn what is there and how the Bronco handles it. I did not run across anything on the west side which was a severe challenge (passed a lot of folks who where looking at me with envy though!

@Bd2008 I didn't see any trail the Bronco cannot handle. I had two days to explore, so admittedly only had a taste of what BBNP has to offer. I will definitely be back this coming winter. What I saw, that's Wildtrak country...no rock crawling to speak of, and no off-trail driving allowed.

Please tell me you ran Black Gap Road! If you didn't you might as well head back out there. It's also a Jeep Badge of Honor Trail

You're the 2nd person to praise Black Gap Road. I did see the trail (video) and it looks like a good one. Mud and pinstriping aside, the trail looks like a good one to take with two or more vehicles. I hate mud. The trails I did run, there was no water at any crossing. I recommend Paint Gap Road as being a rocky, tight trail with plenty of pin striping opportunity...if that's your thing. The end of the trail opens up to the painted desert which is a perfect launching point for hiking off trail.
