Has anyone noticed brakes sluggish on bronco. Had to depress brake hard to keep bronc from sloooowly inching backward on slight incline. Felt like old school brakes that needed the brake lines pumped. brakes well normal driving. just feels weird.

Yes, I’ve noticed that too a little bit on ours.

Mine work great. Which motor do you have? The two use different systems and it seems one has more complaints than the other.

2.3L 10 speed auto

2.7. Dr sas. Not a big problem normal driving. But backing out driveway (15-20’ angle). Drifts unless SOLID pressure on brake.

I’ve noticed that.. it wants to jump if you’re not firm on the brakes when shifting to gear when the engine is cold. It’s gotten better from when I just bought it though. I’ve noticed it improve when I depressed the brakes all the way while in park when starting it up. Maybe it needed breaking in? I’m at 5k now and it seems about normal. Let us know if you see improvement doing the above.

I have the same configuration as you and, if anything, I find the brakes a little grabby. Weird. Based on the QC we've seen, air in a brake line is not out of the question. If you're near Maumelle, feel free to come drive mine to compare.

I noticed that mine seemed a bit soft but I attribute that to being very new.

Ok Played today

. Backed out of flat garage to a 10’ driveway
Parked/stopped. Turned off. Restart put in drive - holding brake light/med pressure. Bronc starts slooooowly inching forward until Hard press on brake. Went and played on EZ/rough area and brakes hold with normal touch! Thinkin brakes need warmed up. But believe me
I am not a gear head. But have drove a couple miles

My dealer (mechanic) said sounds like a vacuum prob. I Trust them. So. Don’t park in front or behind me til I learn how to drive this FRICKIN BEAST!

@gaspasm the 2.7 does not use a vacuum booster so it shouldn't be vacuum related. I really don't know what the failure modes are for the electric booster but if you make a post in the Issues forum and tag @flip I bet he could help you.
