Where are you buying your Bronco? I wanted to buy local, but I got a great deal from Laura GMC before, and Laura Ford's offer is enticing. I might be head to Stephens in West Virginia now. Anyone had any luck getting their local dealer to match Granger of Stephen's?

No luck so far in the Louisville area. If I can’t get a dealer to match, I’ll be going with Stephens or Granger.

I'm still with my original dealer locally who said they would honor X-Plan, but I'm thinking of moving if it saves me money and gets it delivered earlier like the Granger post alludes to.

I have X-plan as well. The invoice -$1,300 for x-plan buyers was enough to sway me. I switched my reveal night reservation to Stephens yesterday. Ford makes it a really easy process. Reminded me multiple times that I could only do it once. I'm flying into Charleston and driving it back (5.5 hours) Might actually stay the night in WV and take them up on their trail riding offer. Might be the only trail I ever take it on unless I catch the 4 wheeling bug.

Stephens is less than 4 hours from me, but I've never bought a new car - let alone one from out of state. I'm hesitant about the break-in process if I drive it on the highway the whole time.

I usually set my cruise control at 80 when I'm on I-64. "Taking it easy" on the way back home is going to be a new experience for sure. I'm going to try to make it romantic for my wife, by having a great meal at the Blue Heron in Lexington. I'm sure some shopping will find it's way in there too. It's the least I can do in return for getting my big boy toy!

I think I really want to stay local. Anyone else in Kentucky buying one locally? Most dealers I’ve talked to don’t know anything.

Your X-plan price will be the same, no matter where you go. It's a preset price directly from Ford.
I'm using Tri-county Ford, and was told by them that they would honor A-Plan. Not terribly happy with their lack of reaching out and being proactive with communications, but since my price is the same no matter where I go, I'll stick with the dealer closest to me.

Look at the spreadsheets that compare xplan to stephens, granger, and Laura. There is a difference. May or may not be worth your effort, but I don’t believe in rewarding crap dealers with preorders that lead to more broncos on their lot. They should put some effort in. My eyes have been opened.

Definitely a difference with all of those dealers in pricing, its just that those aren't x-plan prices. If you went there and paid x-plan instead of their (better) pricing it'd be the same.

I think this may be case where we are both correct.
I am simply trying to point out that when you get xplan, the xplan price is printed on the invoice, directly from Ford. If Granger or whoever want to throw $1300 on top of it, that's up to them. But no matter where a vehicle is shipped, that xplan price printed on the invoice is the same.

But then again, I have never used an xplan. I know 100% that a-plan, is the same wherever I go. I've been with Ford 28 years and have bought 6 cars on the a-plan, plus all the ones I've given to family. I dont think I would even pay shipping between dealers if I had to ship one.

Old post, but I ordered from Stephen's back then. Still waiting, but I got my build date of 4/24 finally. Two-year wait. They also screwed up my order and that's probably gonna cost me about $2k+. But at least the damn thing's coming finally.

@bek I was tempted to go with Two Rivers or Stephens but I got spooked by the number of orders they were getting. I thought my chances were better finding a smaller dealer with less orders. It worked out. Paid invoice price at Ruxer Ford and took delivery in Sept 2021. Badlands Lux Sasquatch Soft Top. Stephen's seems like a great dealer but Ford screwed the whole allocation thing up. Especially for dealers advertising regional/nationwide deals.

@bytheway I wanted to like John at Stephen's... a lot of people do. But to be completely honest, he treats me like a number and has been short with me almost every time I talk to him. It's really just a job to that guy, nothing more. Now because of a mistake he admits he made, I'm going to lose over $2k. I'm ready to get my Bronco and be done.
