New to the group. Here’s my 2022 Wildtrak. I was a day 1 reservation and finally got it September 2022. Finally took the doors off last week.

and now it’s raining, wife wants doors back on, sigh

I've driven in an outright down pour, top on, doors off and was hardly sprinkled on....

Welcome! Door off is really fun - some of us are headed to Pismo next weekend, and our group rule is that everyone's gotta take their doors off ;-)

@WheelMe that sounds awesome! I have zero experience off-roading so planning to go check out Hollister Hills first, before I hit any sand.

@WildOne I think that you can start with sand, too (it's not any more difficult than mud/ruts - rock-crawling is a different animal altogether, however); the important thing is to have other rigs out there with you, to help guide/recover you if you get stuck.

Definitely not a problem starting off with sand, you can always just cruise the beach and stay out of the dunes if you want. Even prius get out on the beach with no problem, its packed down well.
