And by everybody, I mean everybody. We were one of four trails running at the same time.

That looks awesome - I hope you all had a fantastic time!

I didn't even really pay attention to these types of events, I figured it was mostly rigs of all types, not just Broncos.

I think I'll try to make the one in Nevada, in Carson City, in October.

I've actually been considering a Pony Express trail run all the way from Utah to Carson City, so that might be the perfect time to do that.
I'll be tent camping on the trail, and bringing plenty of spare fuel and supplies.
I want to try making that run at least once all the way out there 😊

We could look at making it a group run if others are interested in that sort of thing

@TheKim did you do Pony Express? I’m heading out on Sept 30 to do it from Utah to Carson City-ish. Although the last segment is a lot of pavement it seems. Have you already mapped it? I copied the route from Onx into Gaia and then augmented it with the Gaia maps. Quite a bit of discrepancy between the map layer s

I haven't actually done it yet - I just dropped the Bronco off at my dealer for a long list of attention that it needs.
It'll probably be there at least a few days, but hopefully it'll be fully healthy for a nice long trip.
If you're looking for another Bronco for your trip, I'd be down to join, as long as it's ready in time 😆

Super Celebration is put on by Bronco Driver Magazine and it's a Bronco event. That said, there were Broncos of all types there! This was my fourth year going to Colorado. Seriously, you get to know people there and I have run trails and hung out with some of the same people every year. the photo is from the Mike Serafin memorial drive. In 21, I'd taken delivery 3 weeks before Super Cel and was in the lot getting ready for a trail. Mike didn't have his yet, so he wandered up to mine, said, "Hey, you have a seat?" I said, "Sure, hop in," and we had a great weekend.

He passed just prior to last year's event. I really miss him.

I bought things from the vendors, let me see who I remember... I know Motley Industries was there because I bought stuff from them. Allen from Diabolical was next to them. Turn Offroad, BroncBuster, Tom's Offroad, Wild Horses, some lighting guys, Bronco Nation, they were all there. Several clubs had booths. I did trails on Wednesday and Friday, destination drive to Royal Gorge (and parade across the bridge) on Thursday. We had 30 broncos on the Royal Gorge bridge.

I'll miss Nevada, my next big event will be United By Bronco at the end of February. I just secured a VRBO for the wife and me at Hurricane for the event. Mike and Cindy (Mike's a member here) will be out and I'll be palling around with them again - they're my Colorado fam. Mike will be in the 70 and Cindy in the 21. We're probably going to collaborate and sign up for the same trails this year so we're together.

Anyway, keep in touch for Colorado next year if you want. This year, I had a pet friendly VRBO with a fenced yard and spare bedrooms we didn't even use. I'm comfy enough with you guys to share if you want to split the cost and don't mind my weird husky - TBH, he was so tired after each day, he went straight into his crate and went to sleep. :)

They also had camping on site for people with campers.

I'm kind of hoping Bronco Nation does the camping event for Easter Safari like last year. That was fantastic and a great value, TBH, the catered meals would have cost more than what I paid for the campsite.

These events are great fun and you get to meet a lot of good people. I think in October, one of my friends I met at an event and I are planning on hitting Little Moab, so will try to keep you posted. :)

That said, if you're heading out Pony Express for the Nevada, I'm interested in at least tagging along for some of the trail, probably until Nevada, then I will pop up and head back from there. :)

That sounds awesome, I will definitely post here with details on the Pony Express trail.
I will also start keeping a better eye on the Bronco events - I figured since they weren't able to have the Safari in Moab, they had cancelled the future ones. I didn't really know they moved them elsewhere -
I'll have to keep an eye on those sites, the UBB and other one, so I can keep up with events for Broncos.

If anyone sees cool upcoming events, please feel free to copy/paste them here, haha!

Thank you for sharing your write up!
I miss big fun events like this.
I'm going to try and make the Offroad Games by Matts Offroad next year, so hopefully that's something interesting haha.

Yeah, I talked with some of the Utah Bronco Club guys last week and apparently there was a lot of finger pointing going around. I don't get into the drama...

They had a great experience in Vernal, so expect those events to return to Vernal in the future. They have a Broncos and Pizza on Thursday from 6-8 PM at Pie Pizzeria at 7186 S Union Park Ave in Midvale this week on the 12th.

Ah, now that I've taken a better look and see it's in the middle of the work week, probably not haha.
I'm still wanting to do a Pony express run to Carson City, or at least all the way to Nevada somewhere, before it gets crazy cold

Yeah, I take vacation for the events I go to so I have to pick and choose. I mostly go to ones that I have known friends attending with!
