I installed a Warn Winch VR EVO 10-S some time ago with the Rough Country high winch mount. Since my Bronco was a Big Bend it came with the cheap looking plastic standard bumper. When installing the winch I also installed the HD Modular bumper. And now today I installed the WARN 62132 Power Interrupt Kit. The original Warn instructions just said to connect the ground to the battery and the positive to a positive terminal on the battery. What fun! The interrupt kit is a solenoid so that the winch can only receive power when the interrupt is powered on. I spliced in the power for the solenoid to Aux 6. All my aux switches were in use but I chose 6 because it powered the amber side of my Mabett fog lights. The white side is still working. I rarely use any of the extra lights so deactivating the amber is no biggy.
It took awhile to figure out where to mount the solenoid, I was designing a bracket to mount in the fender. While I was looking at that I noticed the battery mount had two holes that would be perfect for the solenoid. So I mounted it there. The included cable is a bit short but I made it work.
