Hey Central Texans! Has anyone purchased and taken delivery from Covert in Austin?
Curious to know how the delivery process went and if there were any pricing surprises on the back end. I’m expecting delivery in about 6 -8 weeks from now

I have an order through COVERT so I am curious also. My current plan is to try and pin them down to MRSP in writing when I have to resubmit my order for MY22. Please keep me posted on how it goes!

I will post what happens. I have an email from Josh saying MSRP but nothing official and nothing signed.
I actually have never stepped foot on the property. Everything was done by email and phone

I began with them, but switched to Mac Haik way back last year. At the time the communication was not good. I don't know how they are now. I do know they have had a few Broncos go through there already to customers as they will show them for a couple of days and then part ways.

I purchased my current Explorer ST from them and is was pretty much seamless (can't understand why it takes so long to buy a car!). I did go in person to place order back in March and will go again after the 13th to change my 99nd order into a buildable MY22.

My order is scheduled for production on the second week of November. I am planning to drop by the dealership some time before that to get trade in and financing ducks in a row. Will get you posted.

@sergk If it's schedule for production in November and everything goes 100% exactly as it should, then you're probably looking at least the 2nd to 3rd week of December for delivery. So, you may want to hold off on the trade and financing until then. Values and rates may change by then.

Any updates? I’m supposed to have delivery mid December, really curious how your experience goes. Good luck!

It went very well. Surprisingly easy and quick as could be. No hard selling of accessories or financing add ons.

Contacted by 183 Covert today to expect delivery Nov 25- dec 1. Tracker says dec 1. Was shocked to see Josh had emailed, anyone have previous experience with guess on date I will receive?

I received mine approx. a week ahead of Ford's estimated delivery date. You can ask the dealer for the railcar number so you may track the progress yourself. The transportation should be with CSX Transportation. You can call either 877-744-7279 and then press prompts 2, then 1, then 3, or better yet, 800-235-2352 to bypass prompts.
