New kicks for the Badlands today. Pics after install at Discount Tire in Leander, TX.

tires - Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x12.50R17
Wheels - KMC “Summit” 17x8.5 +18 offset

Slight more offset than factory +30 Sasquatch wheels, but def like the treads on the Nitto. Just a hair of a “poke” outside fender without the concerns for throwing rocks against body.

The factory Goodyears are a little softer ride vs the E rated Nitto, but highway noise I think is identical.

love the blacked out look with the Shadow Black exterior! Thanks for checking out!

If you don’t mind me asking, what did they charge for install? I had my Sasquatch tires moved over to new wheels and as they charge per inch, it ended up being like $500. I was flabbergasted. Pretty sure it’s free of charge if you purchase they tires from them.

Looks great btw. If you’re in Leander I’m sure you’ve seen me riding around. My car is loud AF currently as I was suppose to have my new exhaust delivered yesterday and removed my stock one in anticipation. Well, shipment delayed and I’m running around with an open mid pipe. 😂🤣😂🤣

Haha, I’ll have to listen for your drag car exhaust! 😀

Since I bought tires and wheels through them, the install was free

I've seen a lot of folks on this forum talk about the Grapplers. Are they really that much better than the stock Sasquatch tires?

I’ve run a lot of difference tires over the last 10 years including BFG KO’s, Duratracs, Toyo AT, Goodyear Territory (OEM Sas), and honestly I think the Ridge Grapplers are the best all around tire if you want an aggressive tread and still fantastic on road performance. Plus tire wear is great! Put 50k miles on a set on a 3/4 Ton 2500 when they first came out, and then went on my last 2 trucks as well.

I’m not a rock crawler, but the Nittos are fantastic on dirt trails, mud, and def sand running up/down Texas beaches.

Did you need any type of lift to outfit that? Or because you had already had the Sas package, you were fine?

No additional lift, just the SAS and happy to report zero rub at full lock. The 35x12.50 is only 0.5 inches taller than the stock 315/70r17 so figured I would be fine. Very happy with the tire/wheel combo! Thanks
