Central Florida Broncos

Central Florida Bronco owners dedicated to sharing and enjoying off-road excursions and discussing all things the Ford Bronco has to offer.
Hello fellow Bronco Owners, Great to see a Bronco Club in the Central Florida area. I live in Floral City near withlacoochee Forest. I'd be interested in joining with others to ride in this area. We also travel in our RV and will be heading to Moab this year. Thanks Armando & Ann

Nice to have you both on! You're out there by Citrus and Croom WMA? I'm itching to go back out to Citrus and might even head back this weekend

I have had a lot of fun in Withlacoochee. Isn't Citrus little more NW of there? If you guys go out, I may be available.

There are a bunch of trails just SW of Inverness and they are all labeled Citrus and a number (ie Citrus -13). I thought that's what you meant by Citrus. I haven't been there yet.

Either way. Very likely in.

Thats the Citrus WMA you circled. I drove all over the place a month or so ago, its probably one of the better offroad sites in central FL honestly.

How is it? I've wanted to go but hate going solo for first time.

Its great. Most of it is wide, maintained, easy to navigate. some spots are tricky but you know in advance (using Gaia). I really like how most of it is N/S/E/W so you enter at the south and when you're ready to leave just follow a direction and you'll find an exit

I’m just in Clermont, been itching to go Withlacoochee. Need to find a solid set of rock rails first though. Maybe later this month or even Mach we should plan a meet up there.

I really don't think you need rock rails from what I've been in. A winch and rubber boots may be more helpful.

I wasnt planning on it but decided last minute to scout Richloam while its dry. Its still muddy but there are a ton of good trails, Bronco performed flawless. My mistake the first time was staying on the east/southeast side and that is just GNARLY with little pay off. The NW section is great though, would definitely go back again if yall wanted to do it as a group sometime.
